Kudos to you and your colleague for a great job. How long it takes to recover after such surgery? And did you perform any probing with anesthesia to check if it is not a fistula? I had my carbuncle (4x4 cm wide) treated with incision/drainage treatment 5-6 months ago, and it is still leaking out puss. Now the size of it has reduced to 1cm but I can feel some pockets of puss filled hard lumps under the area. One doctor recommend to have incision/drainage (saying its not fistula), while other doctor who is also a surgeon is suggesting probing, surgically removing the entire region and stitching it back (saying it could be fistula). I have no pain or anything, just that I am frustrated with all this time that it is not yet healed and oozing out pus. Just worried if it is a fistula or not.
I just wanna say that Dr. Mudgil is a very handsome man. Also, I can only imagine a cyst in that area must really be painful. Ouch! Great job Dr. Mudgil!
