10:02 i played with Austria in a 64 player map, I dominated all the balkans, playing solo, I'm investing in tanks and infantry, since I don't really like Planes, tanks are my favorite units, I like Ships too. I also love to play with Serbia in the 30 players map, I like the small Nations, that you have to face difficulties since the start of the match
Finally I found this good video. I was searching for such a video, but there was not any good one. This is a great one. BTW, I am one of your discord members :)
My annoyance with the game currently is that most games on 4x seem to really only have 1-5 actually active players and then maybe 5-10 semi-active and then the rest are basically inactive or newbs. It just makes the game by the late game rather boring because depending on where you start you can get a free ride and then just nuke everyone around you since you have so much material. No one is game to attack you and the ones that are, get isolated and eliminated one by one.
I played as chad once, I had a lot of fun playing it. Also Canada is underrated, I had most of my wins as Canada, because the only country you border is USA and all you need to do is expand down
Pakistan is also very bad to play as. At the start, You're a great first target for Afghanistan and India (And keep in mind that India has 8 homeland cities). Probably another hugely underrated country is Mali. You have Mauritania, Ghana, and Niger as AI countries, and you're neighbors are gonna be busy with other countries. Algeria will be busy with Morocco or Libya, and Nigeria will be busy with Cameroon. So you get a lot of time to prepare.
I agree Mali has an amazing position But the bad thing about it that the americans when they start thinking about Africa they will will.enter from Mali
I have actually played Bolivia. I had to defend against 3 nations at once: Chile, Argentine and Peru. I defended for more then 2 weeks (had 1X game speed) and it ended by me conquering most of Peru, half of Chile, me vs. them about 1:3 manpower losses in my favour and all of them quitting the game. My saving grace was probably that their big ally, Brazil didn't join in. At the end of the day I joined his coalition (instead of those three) and we proceeded to almost beat the game until gold digger has steamrolled it all.
Japan is really hard and needs experienced players with a premium. Otherwise with Japan before you can even mobilize your first ship, you'll already be under attack.
Who will attack you ? The koreans ? They will be at war against each other like usuall China ? Have other problems Philippines is far and will focus on vietnam and indonesia
I played Japan four times. And I won the game three times. I would say my naval strategy of defending your coastline and power projection with carrier strike groups helped a lot.
I would say Indonesia is equally as potent but a little harder because of the neighboring countries but I’ve always won when I’m Indonesia and it’s often available even with 7 cities.
I just finished a coalition win as coalition leader with Philippines. I started solo, and was building my economy, building my army, and grabbing small countries, while I watched nearby countries Australia and Indonesia destroy eachother. I waited until they were exhausted, and was able to destroy both of them after that. I was building the strongest navy in the game and had a very solid defense for all my home cities, but nobody seriously attacked me. There were 3 big coalitions, which could become a problem later in the game. Europe, South America, And Russia with the Middle East. I noticed that Russia was growing very fast, and that Cameroon was an experienced player who also played solo. I invited Cameroon to join me in a coalition, because of the other coalitions. He agreed and he destroyed Russia's main allies in the Middle East. After that, Russia also joined my coalition. The 3 of us wiped out all threats after that...
@@bobjoebo8933 I might have used some early in the game to buy some items at the market, but in a later stage I just got counter ops to protect my own cities against enemy agents. I always had loads of money left at the end of a game. Why would you need it?
Nice Video. And good to know. My fisrt win was with UK and without any Marine units :D. This was the first time I ever played . Only member in the Coalition was Germany. We won this game after 34 days.
Everyone want to kill Russia? Laughs after 100 games where nations rarely attack Russia Edit. Also, Belarus is played by good players much like Chad. Great defensive nation from cities so close that missiles attacks are irrelevant, and its sea border where it can defend the Baltic Sea with one crossing only ~ From a somewhat a Belarus Main. P.S. Will try Chad more though
In Africa on map 100 players - the most savvy for 1 player is Madagaskar... I.e. - if U want to play in Africa - choose Madagaskar. U have to develop infantry and take the weakest neighbours. Then, U have to build corvettes in each port to protect it and frigates. Antitank is the choice for U as well as Anti Air in your Capital. The fleet should not be huge. Just build 4 corvettes + 4 frigates + 4 attack submarines in 4 stacks. Avoid the research of Air fighters, etc.. Research Multiple Rocket Launchers * build War Base LVL 4 in your capital. I suggest not to develop tanks / air units, unless U want to donate money....
@@MelliodasGaming I can't play this game without a strong navy. Chad is good for early game, but will be destroyed by nations who can cross oceans late game.
I think north Korea is the hardest nation to use due to it's extremely small size and china Russia japan and south korea Looking at it, if you can't take the lead and make a perfect start you won't even get past 100 victory points. Also Thailand between Myanmar and Vietnam while having jungle terrains unless you instantly conquer one of those 2 you will lose
New Zealand is pretty dope too. There’s literally no one near you except Australia and if you immediately build your navy it’s basically impossible for someone to invade you for most of the game.
My favorite is definitely Turkey. I enjoy being the bridge between Europe and the Middle East and holding an important role in each. My first game I won was Turkey and I still enjoy playing it.
My favorite countries are Ethiopia and Israel. Ethiopia can easily take out sudan to the left and provide a nice barrier from being attacked by egypt or chad (egypt usually goes for israel or libya anyway and chad has lots of other options). That just leaves kenya which makes it makes it pretty easy to move south from there and loop your way back up. Controlling the nile river is probably the most important place in the game. You can easily fit in with an african based coalition or a middle eastern one and it's nice to have options. I'm a heavy naval player and Israel is one of my favorites because of how easy it is to defend all of its cities and organize stacks of troops quicker. Europe, africa, and asia usually make their own coalitions and Israel is that sweet spot in the middle that can easily fit in with any of them. I prefer Israel over Japan by far because it's easier to find allies and your troops are all close together. Playing as japan is easy for sure, but I like to have some land neighbors to take over quickly in the beginning of the game for a nice head start because crossing oceans is so slow. I never go for any pacific island nations for that reason.
I agreed that US is needing great player because when I play as US, I been attacked by Mexico, Canada and Cuba that formed one coalition that been called as Anti USA. I just in and tomorrow, I been invaded. I think I'm good with Russia because I won my solo game with this nation by invading all neighbors. It need many times to build navy, infantry, support and air. I use 10 helicopters, Bombers, Tanks and Missile Theater System to invade Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan in one time. It cost me many sacrifices to stay online. Right now, I'm becoming Morocco and I producing air and naval to invade Spain after this. For me, best nation is: 1-Vietnam (Strategic, near with Paracel) 2-China(Big nations and rich too) 3-North Korea (I can conquer East side) 4-Iraq (rich with rare matetials) 5- Germany ( I can have many tanks and Multiple Rocket Launcher and I capture France, Italy, Sweden, Czech and Austria in one time) 😁😁😁😁 You got my likes and subscribe. Thanks for the vid. I watch many if your vids. Keep up😎!
I played Spain in flashpoint as my first game and nation and it went pretty well cause Spain is far from many countries and it’s easier to protect your borders. I managed to invade countries all around the country and won by coalition. Do you know any good game modes for beginner players between WW3, WW3 4x, rising tides, rising tides 4x. WW3 apocalypse, Cold War
I agree, but Spain have problems with Algeria because Algeria will attack you and your army will be weaker then France can attack you. But if Algeria attack Morocco You can attack Algeria and take both. If you play Spain you're risk your troops
If you're Japan, you should ally with the Koreas to take China, Mongolia, and Russia. While they build up their army, you should have a large naval and air force, so that later, you can just leave the coalition and destroy their cities without risking ground forces. Then you can take North America and the Pacific, and ally with some money spenders. I did that, and the only reason why I was always in third place was that two money spenders (who later became my allies) where in first and second place.
My favorites in this order Brazil Italy UK New Zealand (So far away from everyone and well protected if you team up with the aussies and the Philippines)
I played with russia it was quite annoying to move troops but i attacked every neighbor at the same time and ended up winning with 3k points lol Edit: i also joined a game where austria had a coalition with france and both ended up with 2k points austria conquered even australia xD

Find Romania my hidden gem. Attack Helicopters, Heavy tank doc. Usually start with corvette and national guards Lots of oil most of the time but resources change per game or mod
Romania is a godly country because it has loads of bot countries near it to take over and it has strong country’s near it which can be either taken over or preferably Allied with, they also have a coastal city which means they cover everthing and have a good position on map
watched a few of ur vids stumbled across this today and also just won first game with Belarus today with coalition of mongolia and thailand, 3 man too! have to say i either disagree bc ive seen it done firsthand or maybe im just a god at the game i dont know but regardless great vid man great channel :)
I think its hard or even you can't win if you play in solo, because once a coalition team notices you that you are a threat on them in the future then their eyes are on you and ended up attacks you in a sudden at the same time in every corner. I mean, luck is all you need if you want to win in solo or better join in a winning coalition.
I usually played Germany, India, Chad, Saudi Arab , USA and Brazil. I won 15 from last 20 games and those 5 games were with other nations or on other maps. I play solo about first 20 playdays to recognize who is who. Ofcource you can see it on building, stats from first day. But my experience say me not to join to early. Nobody try to attack me because of my ranking and I just always research for players and take out weakest one. I think one of important things is ability to recognize who you fight and who you play together plus diplomacy. Username AlfredJung
Another thing that needs to be taken into account is the human element ... A lot of people are gonna hate on countries like Russia, Israel, Iran, USA, N. Korea ect.. So playing with those countries is extra hard .. Conversely playing as most european states and some south american and asian ones usually leads to better coalitions that win the game.. Coalitions matter so so much and they are usually not random.. Im not gonna rank them but Canada, Cuba, Brazil, Argentina, South Africa, Ethiopia, Spain, UK, Norway, Finland, Germany, Italy, Serbia, Romania , Belarus, Saudi, Japan, Philippines, and Australia have really good and strong positions While USA, Columbia, Peru, Bolivia , Chile, most african countries, most of the middle east, Russia, the Korea's , France, Austria, and Greece have really hard positions ... If I had to rank a top 5 it would be 1. Brazil 2. Finland 3. Italy 4. Japan 5. Australia * I consistently notice that Brazil is a superpower every other game 5 hardest to play 1. Russia 2. Israel 3. China 4. Bolivia 5. Greece Ive only ever seen Russia make it to the end and as an ally out of these 5 nations..oh and I just won as Greece with my main ally being Austria ... Another hard nation lol.. But I'm a baller lol

Yesterday I started my first game with Norway, which is awful too because it’s literally pushed into the sea by Sweden. Now I’ve conquered half Sweden, Jamtland and Denmark, and Reykjavik has fallen. I think I’m doing good
I find that Bolivia is actually quite fun to play if you know what you're doing most of the time I take chile or Argentina sometimes Brazil if he is low level but I don't think it is really that bad for experienced player
My top 5 nations and why 1. Japan, bc its so easy team up with either Australia or Indonesia and capture basically all of Asia, then go for Russia and if you didn't already win you capture some of Europe. 2. Serbia, Just capture Albania and north Macedonia, make a coalition with Greece invade Italy if there solo if not gear up and get Egypt and Spain to be your friends invade Italy win then go to south Africa with a good navy and win 3. Greece, BC Serbia do the same but also capture turkey 4. Brazil, BC there alone, so if you get all of south America and make friends with north America then practically win 5. India, BC if you make a coalition with everyone around you have time to make a powerful navy
Having more neighbours doesn’t make the nation hard to play with if you aask me. Tbh if you are focusing for a coalition win, top 5 nations are : 1 5. USA 4.INDIA 3.EGYPT 2.JAPAN 1.GERMANY Worst 5s are : 5.THAILAND 4.BRAZIL 3.SAUDI 2.SWEDEN 1.CUBA (JUST MY XP)
Hi Me and my friends(level 98) comprised a list of the 5 best and worst countries. We are in a top 30 alliance and here is our opinion, in alphabetical order five best and worst nations. Let's start with the 5 worst: the power countries that are big 1 Brazil 2- China 3 India 4- Russia 5 United States. The five best countries to use 1- England best Island nation and nation to use in Europe 2- Japan- best Island nations in Asia to use 3- Mexico- Best kept secret in the Americas 4-Colombia- One of the best South American nations to use 5- Germany, one of the best Euro nations to use. We all agree that England and Germany are the best countries for beginners to utilize.
My top 5 ( not ranked in Order) Indonesia: (Good for exp players) Chad: (Relativly easy start, good for missiles) Poland: (You just need to secure a alliance and blockade the straight going into Poland) SA: (Easy Start) Germany: Secure alliance and ez win
I’m playing in 4x with bolivia, I made a coalition with Peru and venezuela. I conquered chile and Paraguay yesterday and we are taking Brazil right now and share with the coalition so everyone gets a bit of it. Then we are going south to Argentina and bam South America is ours. In another 4x I choosed South Africa, in a coalition with Mali/Chad/kenya and Mozambique, it’s going pretty well
What about • Saudi arabia 🇸🇦 • Egypt 🇪🇬 • France 🇨🇵 • India 🇮🇳 They're definitely one of the best countries to play with if you chose the *right* allies
Egypt is one of the best nations but it really needs someone who know how to play ! France is one of the hardest you can never dream about a solo.win with France only if all you neighbors are AFK

I also love to play with Serbia in the 30 players map, I like the small Nations, that you have to face difficulties since the start of the match

Yeaaaah epic stuff !
My 4x games are always heated and full of active players !!
Keep watching the current series and you will realise
My first ever win was also with Austria. Coalition win;-)
Hey, me too!
Thank you a lot, nice video. Keep going

I agree
Mali has an amazing position
But the bad thing about it that the americans when they start thinking about Africa they will will.enter from Mali
@@MelliodasGaming That’s true
I have actually played Bolivia. I had to defend against 3 nations at once: Chile, Argentine and Peru. I defended for more then 2 weeks (had 1X game speed) and it ended by me conquering most of Peru, half of Chile, me vs. them about 1:3 manpower losses in my favour and all of them quitting the game. My saving grace was probably that their big ally, Brazil didn't join in. At the end of the day I joined his coalition (instead of those three) and we proceeded to almost beat the game until gold digger has steamrolled it all.
Thay went well for you in the beginning .. but a golder always finishes off
Why’d they take hiroshima out of the game
Japan is really hard and needs experienced players with a premium. Otherwise with Japan before you can even mobilize your first ship, you'll already be under attack.
Who will attack you ?
The koreans ? They will be at war against each other like usuall
China ? Have other problems
Philippines is far and will focus on vietnam and indonesia
I played Japan four times. And I won the game three times. I would say my naval strategy of defending your coastline and power projection with carrier strike groups helped a lot.
I would say Indonesia is equally as potent but a little harder because of the neighboring countries but I’ve always won when I’m Indonesia and it’s often available even with 7 cities.
Happened to me twice
One of my favorites nation to play with also is India, its good in resources and more
You need to be in a gud coalition for India. Or Pakistan can aim you. I played 3 matches and lost all. Only 2 coastal cities.
India is not easy myanmar and pakistan will think to attack you so fast
But yes it's huuuuge nation and amazing resources
i am best with Syria. Once i conquered almost whole ASIA single-handedly with SYRIA
i like to play GERMANY and TURKEY

The 3 of us wiped out all threats after that...
gg
Question: How did you get enough money? I always run out of money
@@andrejpopovic4779 Rogue State was our main enemy

@@samuelbruyneel Ok, yes, but I ran out of money a lot in the early game. Until I can max out my arms industries
Nice Video. And good to know. My fisrt win was with UK and without any Marine units :D. This was the first time I ever played . Only member in the Coalition was Germany. We won this game after 34 days.

Everyone want to kill Russia? Laughs after 100 games where nations rarely attack Russia
Edit. Also, Belarus is played by good players much like Chad. Great defensive nation from cities so close that missiles attacks are irrelevant, and its sea border where it can defend the Baltic Sea with one crossing only ~ From a somewhat a Belarus Main.
P.S. Will try Chad more though
Indeed Belarus is one of the most underrated nations in CoN !
Aye belarus main too ✨❤️

yes you should try chad it's so underrated and awesome
Philippines is also my favourite country, is so fun to make big atacks with your navy :D
Mine is australia
Because i have a lot of resurces
New Zealand is pretty dope too. There’s literally no one near you except Australia and if you immediately build your navy it’s basically impossible for someone to invade you for most of the game.
My favorite is definitely Turkey. I enjoy being the bridge between Europe and the Middle East and holding an important role in each. My first game I won was Turkey and I still enjoy playing it.
yeap Turkey is a strategic position !
@@MelliodasGaming Yes, if anyone knows it would be you. The Influencer Battles were very entertaining
@@cosmicnomad8575
i'm glad you enjoyed that buddie ^_^
I challenge you to win with 1 of 5 worst nations that you present in your video
I never played with Russia and lost ! NEVER
@@MelliodasGaming no Russia but 1 nation of the 5 worst nations you presented not the first of the 5
I agreed that US is needing great player because when I play as US, I been attacked by Mexico, Canada and Cuba that formed one coalition that been called as Anti USA.
For me, best nation is:
1-Vietnam (Strategic, near with Paracel)
2-China(Big nations and rich too)
3-North Korea (I can conquer East side)
4-Iraq (rich with rare matetials)
5- Germany ( I can have many tanks and Multiple Rocket Launcher and I capture France, Italy, Sweden, Czech and Austria in one time)

Hey !! Sweden is one of my favorite countries .. the components production is amazing
I enjoy playing Bolivia every game :)
Yoooooo me tooooo!
By the way do u have any tips to tell me cuz i get attacked every game...
Players who play as Austria always do well if you can get a good coalition they can be a game winner
A good coalition yes but solo it's so hard
If you're Japan, you should ally with the Koreas to take China, Mongolia, and Russia. While they build up their army, you should have a large naval and air force, so that later, you can just leave the coalition and destroy their cities without risking ground forces. Then you can take North America and the Pacific, and ally with some money spenders.
I did that, and the only reason why I was always in third place was that two money spenders (who later became my allies) where in first and second place.
My favorites in this order
Brazil
Italy
UK
New Zealand (So far away from everyone and well protected if you team up with the aussies and the Philippines)
I played with russia it was quite annoying to move troops but i attacked every neighbor at the same time and ended up winning with 3k points lol

I once played with a guy who played as Bolivia, he conquered all of the 2 Americas
Daaamn ! He must be a tough player 🔥
I think its hard or even you can't win if you play in solo, because once a coalition team notices you that you are a threat on them in the future then their eyes are on you and ended up attacks you in a sudden at the same time in every corner. I mean, luck is all you need if you want to win in solo or better join in a winning coalition.
What's really important for a solo win is diplomacy 😉 you need to speak with other players and secure yourself

Can you make a version for Blood and Oil, Rising Tides, Overkill, Battleground USA, and Flashpoint Europe?
Today i start series of x4 Overkill map with Tunisia 🥰
I usually played Germany, India, Chad, Saudi Arab , USA and Brazil. I won 15 from last 20 games and those 5 games were with other nations or on other maps. I play solo about first 20 playdays to recognize who is who. Ofcource you can see it on building, stats from first day. But my experience say me not to join to early. Nobody try to attack me because of my ranking and I just always research for players and take out weakest one. I think one of important things is ability to recognize who you fight and who you play together plus diplomacy. Username AlfredJung

i’m playing as bolivia and i just took American and most of the canadian city’s still going strong with my south American coalition
Well done 👏 with a coalition you will be well protected 😁
Another thing that needs to be taken into account is the human element ... A lot of people are gonna hate on countries like Russia, Israel, Iran, USA, N. Korea ect.. So playing with those countries is extra hard .. Conversely playing as most european states and some south american and asian ones usually leads to better coalitions that win the game.. Coalitions matter so so much and they are usually not random..
Im not gonna rank them but Canada, Cuba, Brazil, Argentina, South Africa, Ethiopia, Spain, UK, Norway, Finland, Germany, Italy, Serbia, Romania , Belarus, Saudi, Japan, Philippines, and Australia have really good and strong positions
While USA, Columbia, Peru, Bolivia , Chile, most african countries, most of the middle east, Russia, the Korea's , France, Austria, and Greece have really hard positions ...
If I had to rank a top 5 it would be
1. Brazil
2. Finland
3. Italy
4. Japan
5. Australia
* I consistently notice that Brazil is a superpower every other game
5 hardest to play
1. Russia
2. Israel
3. China
4. Bolivia
5. Greece
Ive only ever seen Russia make it to the end and as an ally out of these 5 nations..oh and I just won as Greece with my main ally being Austria ... Another hard nation lol.. But I'm a baller lol

I like the strategic position of Gibraltar for the UK. Allows for decent entry into mainland Europe through Spain, or short travel to Africa.
Yes indeed very important location
Yesterday I started my first game with Norway, which is awful too because it’s literally pushed into the sea by Sweden. Now I’ve conquered half Sweden, Jamtland and Denmark, and Reykjavik has fallen. I think I’m doing good
I find that Bolivia is actually quite fun to play if you know what you're doing most of the time I take chile or Argentina sometimes Brazil if he is low level but I don't think it is really that bad for experienced player
I played usa one time I was wiped out on day 5 because I attacked Mexico and then Canada attacked a right in the middle of a war with Mexico
That's the usuall struggle
My top 5 nations and why
1. Japan, bc its so easy team up with either Australia or Indonesia and capture basically all of Asia, then go for Russia and if you didn't already win you capture some of Europe.
2. Serbia, Just capture Albania and north Macedonia, make a coalition with Greece invade Italy if there solo if not gear up and get Egypt and Spain to be your friends invade Italy win then go to south Africa with a good navy and win
3. Greece, BC Serbia do the same but also capture turkey
4. Brazil, BC there alone, so if you get all of south America and make friends with north America then practically win
5. India, BC if you make a coalition with everyone around you have time to make a powerful navy

Chad: (Relativly easy start, good for missiles)
Poland: (You just need to secure a alliance and blockade the straight going into Poland)
