Connor embodies and articulates a lot of Bruce Lee's fight and thought philosophy. He speaks obout the mind and body being free and one having complete control of self in all aspects. Greatness is no accident!
+MrJesulius you dont get it, Aldo MADE a fake belt for Conor. no class, he could'nt be a man and congratulate the winner and got booed out because of that and nothing else. He should've walked over and congratulated Conor like a sportsman, like everyone else does. But no, he was only concious and started making excuses. After that he lost any respect I had for him as a fighter, will he lose sleep over it no..but then neither will I
Best McGregor interview ever! This is when he was top of the game physically, mentally & spiritually! I have faith he is back on this path and we are about to see more of the same in 2021! Bring it back to the initial love of the game & he can take over once more. Respect & fingers crossed!
Definitely the best talking I've ever heard I would follow him to war here... hopefully he makes 1 more run because he's a hero of mine I love my country and he made everyone excited whether they admit it or not he's a sporting great from our small island
Looks like mcgregor needs to go back to this philosophy of movement, he has become what he accused others of. Some might say his new stance and approach is to preserve energy, it is quite obvious that it is detrimental in some ways though.
If people wonder why Conor has so many fans, this is why, this is the Conor we loved, unfortunately he's not the same person any more, but who ever is.
Regardless of his recent loss, Conor Mcgregor is still the best thing to happen to the UFC in the last couple years..Say what you want about him but he sells fights and brings what the people want to see
I thought Aldo would win by ko. conors speed, accuracy and emotional control won him the fight. in him being so relaxed combined with his flexibility allows him to be very fluid and fast
Like how Conor has matured as a professional. Just have a hard time hearing him in interviews referring to him saying: "Like I said before." He does well with media. Not too over confident. His class truly shows right now. Much Respect to the Guy!
When Rockhold stands alongside Mcgregor, and Mcgregor puts his fist up for the media to take pictures but Rockhold wasn't aware he was going to do that and by the time he decides to pose for the pictures Mcgregor was like "sorry, you had your shot son!"
@@Mmm-gp9bb "the secret" is a book by rhonda byrne about law of attraction and how to use this law , that's a good book all you have to do is to believe what's written there and you'll feel this true.
This is a bit of a random stat for Conor, but. He won Featherweight belt and lost the next fight, he won the Lightweight belt and lost the next fight. Just something random I thought I'd mention.
i feel like this is the most genuine conor, who he is at his core. all the antics, trashtalking, publicity stunts, i think it's all just that: publicity and hype, and perhaps momentary blunders. seeing conor somber like this makes me truly believe there is much more to him than most people think. everyone wants to judge things on the media or take one moment and blow it out of proportion, when none of us know the whole story. is there more to the story or were his slips genuine character flaws? none of us are perfect either, so it's not to even fair judge momentary lapses as character flaws. we have not seen the end of mcgregor. i think he learned a small lesson in humility but he's now hungrier than ever, and he's coming back with vengeance.
@@weebstan8503 100% agree with you, his mindset was bulletproof and he did exactly what he said he was gonna do. No fighter did that, and the fact that saw in his head exactly how he would beat aldo amazes me.
15:17 I think he's absolutely right here. This could be part of the reason he lost to Khabib. He was too focused on information about Khabib and his team, that he forgot to focus on himself and the win. Hopefully he can turn that around next time!

"Timing beats speed, precision beats power' The all important functional word missing from that is 'CAN'. You can be the most precise striker with perfect timing and still fall prey to fast power, especially when you encounter someone with a granite chin who just wont go down and stay down. Nate is an example of this - personally I believe CM to be the better opening striker but once he gets worn down and hit a few times he's no longer quite as polished and it shows, ND + CM 2 showed this; as Conor wore down Nate kept going at the same pace, even picking it up when he smelled blood and whether people want to criticize his power or not, CM wasn't exactly trying to catch everything with his face.
Conor should lock himself in a dark room and watch all of this previous stuff alone and work upon his mental motivation and stuff. I believe he'd do wonders when he comes out of that room.
At this point I think McGregor was having so much success and was so good that I think he got bored and lost the drive. I love this dude through highs and lows because you can relate to it in real life. He had to crawl to get to this point and it’s arguably the highest point of any UFC fighter in history. Cowboy wasn’t enough of a test to see if he’s really hungry again. Even if he isn’t he going down as one of the greatest ever.
Completely agree with every word. I want Conor's career to be alive and healthy again, this fight should hopefully give us more insight into what's going on with him. His corner has said he's a new version of himself and that he's in the best shape of his life, I just really hope that's true.
@@TheShoryaShow that’s why I said cowboy didn’t prove anything. Shit even if that fight went the distance who’s to say how it could’ve gone. "If you see it here (in your mind), and the courage enough to speak it, it will happen." Wowza!
Law of Attraction!
Connor embodies and articulates a lot of Bruce Lee's fight and thought philosophy. He speaks obout the mind and body being free and one having complete control of self in all aspects. Greatness is no accident!
Leslie Stafford n he is a cheater and a tap machine he is just a clown😭
@@thedharannepal7585 I think you`re a degenerate no-lifer snowflake hatemonger.
@thedharannepal7585 Yup, god exposed in adversity.
i really hope mcgregor sends aldo a fake belt
+That one guy no need, aldo will keep hes belt, with hes name on it...
After that he lost any respect I had for him as a fighter, will he lose sleep over it no..but then neither will I
***** Thanks for clearing that up mate, he came accross as deluded and making excuses which surprised me
+MrJesulius haha he was joking bud. you don't get jokes do you :P hah
The chances of somebody knocking out the 1# p4p fighter in the world in less then 30 seconds are so slim, we really live in a crazy world
Best McGregor interview ever!
Regardless of his recent loss, Conor Mcgregor is still the best thing to happen to the UFC in the last couple years..Say what you want about him but he sells fights and brings what the people want to see
+Chris Haynes indeed
"Winners focus on winning and losers focus on winners"
I thought Aldo would win by ko. conors speed, accuracy and emotional control won him the fight. in him being so relaxed combined with his flexibility allows him to be very fluid and fast
Like how Conor has matured as a professional. Just have a hard time hearing him in interviews referring to him saying: "Like I said before." He does well with media. Not too over confident. His class truly shows right now. Much Respect to the Guy!
Irish version of Bruce Lee.
easy there
Derek Romine ikr
thats actually more true than you would think.
timbronco1 Oh well you coming in saying that totally must make it true......again easy there.
allskoolguru Paddy Holohan
This was Conors best look! His shaved head and long beard looks terrible.
nah that shits badass
His hairline's fucked with the buzz cut. Definitely needs to get this look back or even the top knot.
Hate the beard but lived his hair during the chad fight
His slick back looked sick
Looks clean af
Love it when the post interview is 100x longer then the actual fight :) McGregor.. Irish pride ..
And this was the beginning of the fighters having their own press conference...Conor has done so much for MMA.
When Rockhold stands alongside Mcgregor, and Mcgregor puts his fist up for the media to take pictures but Rockhold wasn't aware he was going to do that and by the time he decides to pose for the pictures Mcgregor was like "sorry, you had your shot son!"
If you see it here and you've the courage enough to speak it , it will happen .
:The Notorious CM (2:35)
Lmaooo Conor hijacking the press conference like that is absolutely amazing
Aldo also landed a head punch on Conor
Guess who's chin failed 1st =)
Very good point dude
+LurkerDood 1 was on the chin ,the other onthe side of the head.I guess that makes a big difference.
Doesn't matter now. Aldo is flipping burgers back in Brazil
+jose down!!! Mcgregor down!!! LOL
he clearly read "The Secret"
What that i wanna read???
@@Mmm-gp9bb google exists for a reason my g
@@Mmm-gp9bb "the secret" is a book by rhonda byrne about law of attraction and how to use this law , that's a good book all you have to do is to believe what's written there and you'll feel this true.
@@nameisrango thx
@@Mmm-gp9bb you're welcome sir.
This is a bit of a random stat for Conor, but. He won Featherweight belt and lost the next fight, he won the Lightweight belt and lost the next fight. Just something random I thought I'd mention.
So his next fight is a winner
@@goatstature8263 yh lol
From time to time I come back here and watch this Press Conference. The first question by Robin Black still give me chills..
i feel like this is the most genuine conor, who he is at his core. all the antics, trashtalking, publicity stunts, i think it's all just that: publicity and hype, and perhaps momentary blunders. seeing conor somber like this makes me truly believe there is much more to him than most people think. everyone wants to judge things on the media or take one moment and blow it out of proportion, when none of us know the whole story. is there more to the story or were his slips genuine character flaws? none of us are perfect either, so it's not to even fair judge momentary lapses as character flaws. we have not seen the end of mcgregor. i think he learned a small lesson in humility but he's now hungrier than ever, and he's coming back with vengeance.
humble in victory and humble in defeat. he stays true to that
I get confidence from this dude, more than Watching Rocky, is there Anything he can't do..fucking Inspiring..
Luke was adjusting his belt placement and mcgregors like fuck this I can't wait for u
+Jonny Miller lol McGregor's like I remember you talking shit saying Aldo was going to beat me...............see ya lol
Luke told him he had a fake belt before the Aldo fight, he doesn't respect that man.
I don't care what you say.. That fighter right there is the greatest of all time
sure pal, Khabib did not beat him like a lil b1tch, he actually spit in his face after the fight, it tell a lot about Coron's greatness
@@michaelsi6770 your lil ass brain can't accept that.. I agree he has his ups and lows.. But 2015 conor is the best
@@weebstan8503 100% agree with you, his mindset was bulletproof and he did exactly what he said he was gonna do. No fighter did that, and the fact that saw in his head exactly how he would beat aldo amazes me.
@@davidbadihi3915 exactly... He got the goat status right at the moment
Missing this old Conor in 2024.....
Lol Rockhold wanted to pose for a few photos and Conor was like nah
I laughed so hard.. well there is a video of luke talking rubbish about the way corner trains. Hence why corner acted like that
Miss this conor so much hopefully we see the same Conor against cowboy
I mean we saw him 😅
Adam Klimek yes we did
15:17 I think he's absolutely right here. This could be part of the reason he lost to Khabib. He was too focused on information about Khabib and his team, that he forgot to focus on himself and the win. Hopefully he can turn that around next time!
#2weightworldchamp... "they say I talk and I talk, but guess what... I back it up, I back it up"...
i book it up !
But guess fooking what I back it up, I back it up
It's always refreshing to see him act professional and polite.
As a irish bloke, this is the nicest suit on McGregor, he looks sharp.... oh and EIRRREEEEE
what has you being an Irish bloke?
Nothing Original 2pac where are you??? are you really hidden in Cuba???
I love a great upset. I had stopped watching UFC. But I might start back cuz I really dig Connor McGregor's attitude. My type of dude.
I back it uuuup, and that he did. This guy deserves to be where he is at.
Welcome to the new fight game ladies and gents! The level of fighting will now change forever for every ufc fighter especially for feather and lightweights cause of this man and they know it! I believe. He's brought a new bright mindset to the game of mma that is undeniable and simply incredible. I'm very grateful to be able to watch this man do what he does best...Bruce lee reincarnated!
Angel Delaherran regret that comment yet
@@Ridgill85 😂 hindsight is a beautiful thing
These post fight pressers were way more fun
"Timing beats speed, precision beats power'
The all important functional word missing from that is 'CAN'.
This version of conor was untouchable
Aldo fainted the right and went with a left hook but Conor’s timing and precision was perfect and it was lights out for Aldo
Conor should lock himself in a dark room and watch all of this previous stuff alone and work upon his mental motivation and stuff. I believe he'd do wonders when he comes out of that room.
that handshake almost knocked rockhold out
No matter what happens Conor will always be the king of the UFC!!!!
No Khabib time
@@i_love_wrestleelephant6035 now khabib time is also over its khazmat time
Who's the guy who McGregor took the microphone off?
@@SPACYtunes rip. Sad for Connor. He’ll be back though
@@TheShoryaShow that’s why I said cowboy didn’t prove anything. Shit even if that fight went the distance who’s to say how it could’ve gone. I want this man be back on top but the bottom line is if he couldn’t win last night then he doesn’t even need to be thinking about Khabib. That lost fucked up his legacy a lot.
Bruh this is Ali Liston I can’t stop coming back to the whole Mcgregor Aldo ordeal .. undefeated never beaten for 10 years the only champion in that weight division Conor was talking about Jose like 7-8 years before this in his other promotion and boom KO in the fastest time ever for a championship and he predicted it man this is one of the craziest upset ever
lighten up people. connor is hilarious with his shit talk and by far one of the funniest fighters
"Winners focus on winning. Losers focus on winners" I want all his great quotes on my walls! No one beats the fightin' Irish
I hope Cowboy beats Dos Anjos. McGregor and Cowboy fight for the Title.
It’s finally happening
Even tho it's not for the title you got your wish
Look at the respect he used to have. He used to carry himself like a man! Cmon where did this Connor go? The one we all grew to love
The confidence is crazy
Conor should have stayed as active as he was here in 2018 and 2019. Hopefully he will pull it together and fight another three fights this year
mcgregor 7 fights in ufc jose 8 fights in ufc. clearly Aldo was picking on choosing his fights to survive
Johnny Kim Nope Aldo beat Frankie Edgar, Chad MendesX2, The Korean Zombie, Ricardo Lamas etc in the UFC during his reign. If you include hos WEC days he also beat Urijah Faber, Cub Swanson and Mike Brown.
