Like I get it, you go to a tournament to win, but if the audience is not interested than your not going to have any tournaments to go to. Cloud is a fantastic player, but can you really blame everyone for being against him? Full honesty, IHeartJustice is the only Marvel player that I care about watching any more just because his team is so refreshing and his plays are so ballzy and crowd pleasing. More players should experiment, this game has a giant roster filled with unexplored, or at the very least, unseen characters. The stakes are not very high at the moment ether, so its a perfect chance to experiment. It would breath new life into the game, and I know I would certainly watch a lot more marvel.

Some actually do put him second, but it's down to the team. In general, it can be safer, but using that method costs a ridiculous amount of bar, even just getting Nick in uses two bars. Sometimes Maya + a great GTFO assist is something people prefer, rather than blowing meters for evidence. Point Phoenix helps give experience with him in neutral/blocking, too. You're not always gonna be in a situation to use the Maya method, even if that's your main tactic. It's Marvel. Sometimes things just don't go to plan.

PW players struggle against characters with command grabs (like Wesker) since they aren't effected by Maya's shield and characters like Zero who can load the screen with a billion projectiles that quickly break through his defenses. That's why point PW players always have a GTFO assist like Dante's Jam Session or Doctor Strange's eye. Plus putting PW second is risky for the simple fact he's not good at taking incoming mixups. Regular PW has very few defenses against most top tier characters and he's basically forced to blocked for long periods of time since his attack range and priority is garbage.. A PW second is almost completely reliant on the point character of the team while a point PW team can still be dangerous if he dies and allows him to have two assists to help keep his opponent away.
Phoenix Wright's Lvl3 will always be hype. Great matches.
