SNIPING TROPHY CINNAMON TEAL & PINTAIL!! INCREDIBLE LATE-SEASON DUCK HUNT!

We had ourselves a day with some buddies down south! The morning started a bit slow, and Colton may have been a tad worried, but as it so often goes, as soon as the wind picked up, it was game on! After sniping a cinnamon teal early in the hunt and the greenwings being plentiful, we got very picky, hoping to complete a teal trifecta! We hadn’t seen any bluewings all morning, but the patience holding off on plenty of stud birds over the decoys paid off when a single blue rocket ripped across the spread (that we almost let out)! Aside from the teal, including three beautiful drake cinnamons, we picked off a few select bull sprigs and wigeon that would be worthy to go on any wall! We rounded out the day with a check from the local game warden that led to some really cool stories and a bunch of laughs; hats off to him for the professionalism and great conversation. All in all, it was just a terrific day with a really fun group of guys!
