- In this eye-opening video, we delve into the shocking world of Shawarma food poisoning incidents. After uncovering news about a tragic fatality linked to Shawarma consumption, we decided to investigate further. We took samples from 5 random Shawarma shops, subjecting them to microbiological testing at an NABL-approved lab. Surprisingly, the results we received contradicted the information the lab conveyed to us over the phone.
Our pursuit of clarity has led us to Section 40 of the Food Safety and Standards Act, which empowers the common man to test any food sample in a Government lab when in doubt. As we await further insights, our mission is clear: to inform and caution, urging restaurant owners to prioritize safe food practices.

I live in Canada and have been eating shawarma for over 10 years. Never had any issues. Honestly, most of the indian street food vendors are not cooking shawrma meat to proper internal temp and probably not using proper meat handling practices

yes bro. he said the shawarma should be done higinicly which will be done in canada second they know proper method to cook a shawarma, like cooking the swarama properly ,cooking inside the kitchen , etc.
but in india most of them do this for business only they doesnt care about the food hygen except for some hotels were they do very hygenically which i have seen already i.e in kitchens of hotel and not outside. But i only see such hotels very rarely like i see a lot of shawarma shope wevery day but out of this i only seen 2 hotels preparing hygenically, which i also tried there nothing happend to me.
by conclusion the chicken should be bought fresh and not the unfresh one
secondly they should preparen insode a kitchen and not outside thirdly and finally they should store of cook the meat properly.

Really I appreciate your hard work for such awareness news.. In India, rules are violated and don't have strict action due to corruption everywhere. Actually the government should give open reports and take strict action..
Also I would request your team to prepare another video about readymade parota and chapathi.. Most of the companies adding chemicals more than fssai allowed standard. Normally those products cannot stand for more than 4 days even with hygienic environment preparation.

Thank you to the whole team to make this awareness and study...I'm following this case since this issue happened..have filed RTI to obtain the reports, but still not recieved.... True fact is there is no proper implementation of FSSAI regulation acts in food outlets across India and also there is no proper regular monitoring system..Fiid Safety acts only after an issue happened.....
