I would like to share with you that I am a Puertorican woman straight out of ghettos of Brooklyn and married to an Italian man who never knew a struggle in his life. When Vincent said that he has a VERY Italian family, that is EXACTLY the type of family that I married into. I am 51 years old so 11 years ago when we got together it was a VERY REAL ISSUE about us dating. They just weren't familiar AT ALL with someone outside of their culture. It took some time and a lot of understanding on both of our parts and now 11 years later things could not be better. I have virtually no family on my side but on my husband's side I can't even count the number of aunts, uncles and cousins. We ALL show up to each other' s events that the headcount for just immediate family is about 80. We had an amazing wedding and I can't even count how many Aunt Maries and Cousin Theresas I have !😂. They are wonderful people and love me dearly. They taught me what BEING A FAMILY is all about. Plus they taught me a lot about Italian cooking. I make a mean Sunday GRAVY !! God Bless.....

Steph and Vincenzo-I love the "humanistic" attitude of just looking at each other with "LOVE" vs. focusing or overfocusing on "color and culture"--my Son's dad is black--and I've experienced negativity from both the black (mainly women) and the white culture throughout my Son's growing up.
