thank you I am still having trouble making the tie in the middle really tight. Do you have any suggestions?
Myrna ,(or anyone else having this problem) I have the same problem because of the arthritis in my hands so what I do is I twist the wire a bit with my hand just enough to hold the bow in place and while still holding it with your other hand, grab a small pair of pliers or needle nose pliers and use the pliers to twist it as tight as you need it to be. Works really well.

I've always made my own bows I've used up to seven ribbons before it was not easy but it was really pretty afterwards anyway on a bow maker can you use more than two and a half inches can you go to 4 in
You can use any size ribbon in the Bowdabra bow maker - wired ribbon works best.
Which model is this. I understand they come in different sizes.
So what do you do if they are not the same on each side?
Your bow will have different designs on each side🤔 Buy a new rool🙄

Did you fold the wire over? Before putting it in the Bow thingy? 2:00?
Yes fold your wire in half and then tuck it under the ends.
What if its not the same on both sides?
Play it at 2x speed.

Best place is You Tube. The lady made a simple bow with double sided ribbon. Loads of people make better bows with wider ribbon, not double sided. Twist in the middle. Do not particularly like her bows.

What loop where do you pick up a loop
Hi! We use 6 inch loops for a standard size bow. 😊
The loop where you doubled over the wire before laying it down in the slot of the bowmaker. I had to watch it twice to figure out what 'loop' too!
She folded the wire in half before putting it in the bow maker. The loop from folding the wire is what she was talking about.

If you have one sided ribbon, can't you just twist in middle and put down in the maker.
Yes, you twist before you make each loop.
Ummm I lost you at 3:37. Are you using a second ribbon? I need zoomed in where the ribbon is at the bottom of the bowdabra. How are you twisting it there? 😬

I use a wooden boo maker that is a lot easier to use than that plastic one and mine has a ruler attached so you don't need to "eye ball" or use a measuring tape.

Great video for beginners, steps are spoken s l o w l y and you can see the steps. Have to say this plastic thing is junk. Wooden is much better. Once you get the hang of bow making you'll be able to just use your hands or 2 doll rods in a small piece of wood. USE YOUR IMAGINATION, ADD MORE THAN ONE COLOR OR PRINT... FOLLOW THE SAME STEPS WITH EACH COLOR RIBBON. 1st use Gold, make 5 loops then with the same step (except wire) place printed ribbon.. Your bows will look aging and everyone will want on.. good luck all

Actually, the bigger the bow...the thicker the ribbon should be....it does not have to be wire!!!
