Music of the sea surf

Sea. I love the sea. It is never monotonous or uninteresting, because every day, even every minute, it is different. Mysterious, impermanent, vast - it excites the soul, does not leave the heart indifferent. One day it is quiet and calm, like a large mirror, cold and transparent. The next day, everything suddenly changes. A gusty wind will come and drive the waves to the shore. The water turns a murky green, sometimes dark blue, and once I even saw a startling black. There are no more fish, no shells, no sand: there are only violent waves that beat with force on the coastal sand.
