DAVE RODGERSといえば過去、アルフィーのメリーアンをユーロビートでアレンジしていたんですが、ちょうど、このTAKE ME HIGHERのようなアレンジでした。
この曲はウルトラマン・ティガの主題歌としてV6に作曲されたものをカヴァーしたものなんですが、さすがDAVE RODGERS、ちゃんと自分の楽曲にアレンジし直しているところがすごいです。ユーロビート好きの自分にとってはV6のオリジナルも良いですが、やっぱりDAVE RODGERSバージョンの方が断然好きですね。

Since you compare Ultraman Tiga and Initial D. Then here is the weird part. The race car driver in Ultraman Tiga is called Takuma but in Initial D, the main character is called Takumi. See how these 2 men have a short name beginning with Tak? So in Ultraman Tiga, Takuma died because the monsters attacked an airplane and when Takuma is riding a plane as a passenger, he has no control over it. However, he did eventually came back as a ghost. The nurse at the GUTS Headquarter is a girlfriend of Takuma.
