After going through every iteration of the GR1and 2, I finally found my FOREVER EDC Bag. These things are frigging awesome ! BULLET 15 ... Best ruck ever made !
Did you see what just dropped? I had very few issues with the Bullet. This could be the upgrade that makes it the EDC King for me. go.ruck.beer/BulletLaptop
Hey Ryan. How tall are you? I have the new laptop 16L and just pulled the trigger on the sale prices bullet Rucker for my morning walks. With my GR1 26L as my former go to I’m getting used to the smaller size at 6’ and 210lbs but it’s awesome so far.
@@Rucking ok so you have me talked into the Rucker 3.0. Now 20 or 25l? Seems to me most you tubers have the 20 and are commenting when the 25 Lcomes out they are switching for added length, capacity and hip belt. I don’t plan on doing events just neighborhood rucks.
@@MWDAdventures I personally ruck the 20L. I think it has all the space I need for rucking and for events. I like the way it sits on my back and feel like (for me) 25L hits lower than I prefer for rucking. Also, I've never worn a hip belt, so non-issue for me. But, I'd say, most fellas I know go for the 25l. I'm in the minority that prefers the 20l.
@@Rucking thanks. I come from hiking and firefighting. We used hip belt for all our SCBA packs and hiking the same I am more used to hip belts but like the options with go rucks to take it off if I don't care for it. I am going to get the hip belt regardless of the 20 or 25 L they seem to be about the same price with hip belts just one has it listed standard. it seems to come down to capacity and lengh.
Raised bottom for laptop (fit a 13" Macbook? Though you might not use it for laptop). Sounds like you have a regular Goruck too. If yes: are the straps comfortable/hard to break in? Does the back of bag pill/ruin material because of 1000D Cordura? Dunno if you can answer this but I'm 5'7," can't go longer than 18.5, tops (short torso)...would you rec GR1, 2, Bullet...favorite? (P.S I am not a rucker. Just every day carry. Was hoping I could get GR2 2 for travel but it might be a tad too long for my frame). Thanks for ear.
No false bottom like in the GR1. Straps were fine for me, no issues. The Cordura on the latest bullet is the 210d, which is super smooth. No pill. As for which to get, depends on you need. 2 is just for travel, in my opinion. In GR1 vs Bullet, it is probably more about how much volume you need. I use bullet for my grab and go bag for things like kids soccer games. Carry a book, my laptop, water bottle. 21L GR1 is my work bag. More books, notebook, computer, cable, and misc.
Hi, just watched this vid, very useful thanks. Just considering this pack but it's difficult to get in the UK. There are a couple of options but adds a fair bit of ££££ to the original price. Just to help with my decision making, would this suffice for a 2 night awayday please? I'm thinking 2 x t shirts, pair of jeans, underwear/socks etc. Thanks
Personally, I wouldn’t. If I was regularly doing that weight and distance, id go for a Rucker. That said, technically, sure you can. The 30# plate fits. Lack of framesheet and slightly narrower straps are what make it a no for me.
Any chance you can do a side by side comparison of this and RFF? Maybe side by side with the GR1 26 for size comparison? Also, which gimbal do you use?
short version: RFF is narrower (3L smaller). Straps are better on the bullet. Front zipper on RFF is my favorite thing. RFF was my daily carry till I got this. I love this thing. Perfect for my needs. The extra 3L made it perfect. As for gimbal, this one: amzn.to/31TGQSR
@@Rucking thanks much for your informative reply. I have the 15l classic on order. I’m looking to buy a 20 lb plate. Does the 20lb short plate fit well? Thanks again. Steve
I have this and it fits the 20 LB standard plate perfectly. I think the long plate would move around a bit as it’s a narrower plate. The plate compatibility is listed on the product page.
Some GORUCK bags are made in the US and some aren’t.I believe cost is one of the main drivers for non-us. They recently moved their flagship rucks back to 100% US.

Nice comments and use case. I find the 10L carries everything I need and do use that as my EDC. I also have a 15L bullet and 21 L GR1.
I never liked the shape of the 10L. Too "bullet" for me.
Cheers guys, appreciate your comments
Same to you.

I’m 6’1” 180 and never had any issues with smaller rucks. 21L Rucker is my favorite for rucking and 15L bullet is EDC. Glad you’re enjoying it!
I wonder if this bag will get in the water if walking in heavy rain
A bit.
So bullet ruck 15L or Rucker 3.0 20L. I am torn how do I decide. I mainly want it for rucking and some day hikes of a couple of miles. Help!
I love the 3.0 for rucking. Has more support and will handle weight better. For me, 15L is a better EDC that I can ruck with in a pinch.

I just grabbed a pair of pants, 3 shirts, socks and underwear. All fit. If you're not packing much else besides a few toiletries, you'll be ok.
@BoneThroneTriumph I don’t have an LBT, but they look similar. Let us know how your testing goes once yours arrives.
Thanks for doing the review. Would a 30lb plate be too much for this for 5-7 miles?

i guess I'm pretty off topic but does anybody know a good site to stream newly released tv shows online?

Is this the 15L Bullet Rucker or the bullet classic? Thanks
