Nice! I did the kwi 155 clutch kit and tune for 32s so that's why I went with this size tire. I am at 164hp now but if I notice a big power loss I will just upgrade to the next tune WS 170 197HP.
Oh okay thought you had an X3 lol. I almost bought the Pro XP but decided to try out a different manufacturer. Maybe next time but will probably get another Ranger eventually. Lol
I’m running the 30’s on bead locks. 120hp x3. No issues and these tires are awesome on the east coast. Im not racing so the durability is more important than the weight. Best East Coast tire by miles maybe.
Nice rig and set-up. You mentioned doing a tune and clutching in your comments, but not in the video. Is this something you recommend? Also, I understand just how much braking is effected by going to a larger tire. Will you comment on this? Thanks.
Thanks! I already put a tune and clutch kit in a earlier video. This model from the factory only has a 120 hp so I increased it to 164 hp. The X3s have a lot different models with different horsepower ratings up to 197 hp so I dont think tuning will hurt anything since they all have the same motor but are tuned differently. Also I think the 32 inch tires are perfect and shouldn't cause any problems. Thanks for watching!
What air pressure are you running? Lowering the air pressure will obviously make the overall tire diameter smaller. Which will help with the rubbing. I’ve got 33 MotoHavoks on my 64 wide. Front rubs slightly at full lock and articulation. Not enough to bother me. Also, the lower air pressure will give a better ride. Try going with 14psi and lowering from there. Most companies ship wheel/tire combos with 20psi. Way too hard. I run 8-12 psi. Depends on the tire.
Yes it does rub a little when the steering wheel is turned all the way on articulation. I am debating on whether to get forward a arms or not. Will see
@@UTVDIRT it’s been a year since you posted about your tires and wheels. I have a 2021 64” thinking about going the same route you did. Do you regret going with the 32” tires with the rubbing or what did you do to fix the problem?
@@kevinrose4859 if I had to do it all over again I would of went with 30s on 15 inch rims. That would eliminate in rubbing so when these ones wear down that's what I will probably go with next.
Looking at this same set up in bronze. How bad is the rubbing with the 15x32? Thinking going 14x32 due to that reason. When I called KJ to order they said I will rub but you said you haven’t. Are you running spacers?
Could be the tires out of balance or maybe air pressure adjustment. If you have a extra set of tires put them on and see if they wobble. If it still wobbles could be your hubs.
@@halfmanhalfamazing191 I used to use 4wd all the time, but in 2wd theres no problems at all with that size tire or anything, over 700 miles with no issues

i guess Im asking randomly but does any of you know of a trick to log back into an Instagram account..? I was dumb lost my login password. I would appreciate any tricks you can give me.
@Barrett Frederick Thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site thru google and I'm trying it out atm. Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Great information and I appreciate all the measurements, especially the width with the 5+2 rims.
No problem
What tires are those you pulled off? Did you run them at all on the road, and if so good/bad, hold up ok?
Your font should measure wider then the back at least with the rzr it does if you run same offset wheels on all four corners
You might want to adjust ride height. Front should be 1/2” higher than rear.
Yeah right now I have the Fox tune set up but I am thinking of getting the shock therapy dual rate spring set up.
Nice ride! Just ordered a set for mine. Can’t wait to see how they perform
Thanks!
I got the same tires and the non bead lock bronze rims. I stayed at a 30 inch, they are awful heavy. So far they seem to perform well.

@@tcnpsu1 Yeah so far I am impressed with these tires. I like them better than the carnivores I had on my last unit.
Did you have an issue with loss of power or belt slipping running a larger and heavier tire?
How do they ride on the pavement? I would like these tires but some say they suck on the road.
How are the axles holding up brother ?
They are holding up great. No issues at all.
That’s a mean frickin can am!! I need one of em!!
Thanks Blake!
Did you move it before measuring, need to let it settle then measure
Yes I took it for a ride around the yard and pulled it back in to measure.

@@UTVDIRT So what about your braking? I asked if it was effected by the larger tires. It should be noticeable. Is it?
It is a little bit noticeable but nothing extreme that would make me worry about the brakes.
How much do they weigh? Looks good.
The tires weigh 45.6 pounds not sure what the rim weighs I forgot to weigh them before I put them on. Lol

i like top doing top speeds would you say they're save or is it kinda sketchy ?
also like mudding haha
You can do both high speed and mudding with these tires. They also are good at rock crawling.
@@UTVDIRT well answer both my questions that's a sub from me i like you content on the maverick keep it coming hahah

Wandering if u removed the front sway bar yet?
No not yet. I want to see how it does with these new tires first then go from there.
Is this setup with stock height or do you have the lift kit spacers installed? I have the 3" lift and planning on trying 34's
This is stock height but I did do the fox tune setup for the shocks.
After some runs did you find its rubbing a bit on articulation or not?

Now that you've had both the Carnivores (Ranger) and the XTR's, do you have a preference?
Yes I prefer the XTRs because I like the more aggressive tire patterns on the side walls. They also seem to wear better than the carnivores.
@@UTVDIRT Awesome, thank you! I am looking at both sets for my 2019 Ranger XP1000 Back Country!

I have a question they had to modify the clutch to use those tires?
what air pressure did u end up with? I have 30x10x14 on my uforve 1000 at 8psi.. thinking to low of pressure
About 10 psi seems to work for me.

@@UTVDIRT I watched this video 3 times, I got the 5+2 now! Thanks!
Did you have any issues with the stock clutch?
I previously installed a clutch kit before these tires were installed.
Are those dot strapped for street upgraded units?
I don't think they are DOT approved. They are 8 Ply A/T tires. Very good tires for any situation you get into on the trail.
I have a question, do you have to modify the clutch to use those tires??
I put a clutch kit in because I feel anything over a 30 inch tire you need one.
thanks for the information any kit you recommend?
@@oswaldomartinez159 I did a install video on it and used a KWI x155 kit. Check out the video.
Does it ride any rougher or handle worse at higher speed?
It handles better at higher speeds. More stability with the width being wider and more ground clearance.
Dang! Those are some bad units! Looks great!
Do they measure true to size?
Yes they are a true 32 inch tire.
