Definitely dropped the ball with this guy. He’s a star, great in ring talent, Scarlett is a great valet. On NXT it was one of the best entrances since the Taker.
KROSS was the guy who got my girlfriend into wrestling. Heck, she already has all the Scarlett figures and two Kross shirts. So thank you, Killer and Scarlett, for giving my girlfriend and I another reason to love Pro Wrestling.

I had heard a few interviews with Kross before but they were more in character interviews. I had never really heard Scarlett before. Talk about two humble and just cool people. These are two role models you could easily look up to. You get fired and your thought is, "OK how do we improve this situation?". Thanks Renee. Man... Kross is such an intelligent, conscientious, humble guy who really just wanted to do the best work. Guys like Jon Moxley and Drew McIntyre don't sound like people who give out compliments and recommendations lightly. Jon was sizing Kross up as a viable opponent for ROMAN for crying out loud. Wherever he lands next, I am going to be watching and if possible following Kross' journey.
He was money without trying! When he got to WWE to let the theatrical side out, it worked! I was hoping to see him at WrestleMania, possibly being the one to dethrone Roman. Kross was ruined. July 2021 to January 2022, he should've been a monster. He wins the Rumble, feuds with KO, and makes his decision to face Roman. Kross will keep up the intensity, Heyman sees a “new” Brock Lesnar in Kross, Roman fires Paul in February or March instead of last month. Roman does that to play mind games. Based on promos, Kross is a face more or less with Roman being the heel. Roman tries to use The Usos, but Kross wipes them out. Exploder suplexes on the announce table. First official time in his career, Roman taps out or just passes out if you still wanna protect Roman.
It's so crazy that 7 months after this interview, they are getting a second chance to do it right WITH the continuity from NXT and without creative interference by Vince. Bravo!
I saw him in LU and was interested. When they stopped the show and I watched Impact consistently, it was around the time Petey Williams was getting blamed for being a mystery attacker. When Kross revealed himself at the mystery attacker, I lost my mind! Watched his work ever since. His feuds with Sandman, John Morrison, and Eddie Edwards especially showed me what he's like creatively. When he went to NXT, he stated he loved the theatrics and WWE is the perfect place to test it. NXT knocked it out of the park! The disconnect in creative on Raw messed him over. They cut him nice enough checks, but it's not about money. It's about mental well-being plus morale with being able to think freely. Vince didn't let Kross in on his own project which derailed everything leading him to get fired. I was honestly excited for Kross vs Reigns at WrestleMania, but I'm glad we got Kross either way.

He could be the next big thing in wrestling for sure but I honestly believe he would be huge in hollywood and even bigger than Batista and Cena. Hes got so much range and endless amounts of talent. It just will never make sense to me. They’re both such special talents and had potential to be such big draws in WWE, yet the company is so backwards they let them slip through their fingers. Kevin is such a well spoken talented performer, literally an ideal WWE wrestler from looks to gimmick, to the way he handles himself outside the ring. It’s unfortunate but I only wish the best for both of them. I hope their talents are utilized properly elsewhere.

It is a real shame to let them go. Karrion Kross nxt gimmick should've continued on to the main roster. I had a vision of the character. I was watching Clash of the Titans 2010 movie, there was a scene where the group was waiting for Charon the ferryman. I paused the movie and decided to play the Karrion Kross theme song on my phone then pressed play. I saw Charon coming out of the fog on his boat and i Said "That should've been Karrion Kross's entrance at Wrestlemania if they kept his gimmick from NXT".
I wished Vince could have kept him for longer. In my eye, Kross has all the potential to be "the next Undertaker", Kross already has a "destructive force" character, why not build on that. It's just a shame that they dropped him.
