@TheMelrobo24 The lead guitarist (Alex), does loads of vocals too. Enough that I would argue they are both the frontmen, as it's often Alex on his own.
tbh ive never really heard much fightstar has done before and i wanted to see what charlies different style of music from when he was in busted nd a love it but do the others sing aswell or is he jst the main singer jst want to know cos am not sure ;? x
I get what you're saying, but considering that, in some songs, he is the main vocal focus, that's enough to be classed as a form of frontman. It's more a matter of opinion on the phrase. Songs like Shinji Ikari and Tonight We Burn are completely lead by Alex, so it's an arguable point. However, if we're talking pure stage presence, then I agree that Charlie is the frontman.
Both frontmen?? Seriously. Alex does harmonies and quite a few small solo, intro singing parts. The most he ever does is 20% of a song as the main vocals. The other 80% is led by Charlie. Don't get me wrong the parts Alex does are great but not both frontmen
It's just unfortunate that he goes for the soft version when singing. The album version is so powerful but here it just sounds like he doesn't have the control to sing like on the album and it actually sounds a bit tired. Compared to many other unplugged artists, where they actually lift them selves unplugged, like Foo fighters, Queens of the stone age, Nirvana, Soundgarden......
What the hell are you talking about? His vocals were awesome. Some pitch issues, but nothing major at all. Queens of the Stone Age and Nirvana? FF? Again, what the hell? Soundgarden??? Are you serious right now?
Robert Percy I'm glad somebody on here has a musical ear unlike that deaf numpty above ^^ Yes you're right he has to sing it in a lower key because of the way the guitars are tuned for the acoustic version.
Charlie's vocals are so amazing in this. What a legend!
This version and the live unplugged version of Unfamiliar Ceilings complete me 💯🖤

Jesus fucking christ I am actually laughing because of how good it was... WOW... WTF
3:06 thas why
Most rock band singers in my opinion aren't that good live, but Charlie Simpson is... in Palanhuiks laughter unplugged especially.
@suaveydespacio123 No we don't.

you are comparing completely different rock genres

The acoustic version is in a higher key than the recorded version so he's had to change the melody to fit that.
