They absolutely can do it live. Their singer Brian is amazing and he sounds almost the same as in studio
Currents is a phenomenal band, “the way it ends” album is amazing and all 4 new singles for their upcoming album are all bangers. I believe it could be their biggest album yet.
Now that the album has been out for a little bit, I think it's my favorite metal album of the year, possibly tied with Invent Animate's new one.

@@vayda934 Me too. They are on a level all their own- they're the standard by which I judge all other metalcore bands.
In my ranking, it's Currents, Invent Animate, Crystal Lake, and Imminence on the S-tier. Flawless production, unique and unusual riffs, genius level songwriting.
This is one of the main reasons (Other than watching you guys react) I watch your reactions, I discover gems like this bands. Thanks for this❤
Back in November of 2021, my wife and I saw Currents, Bad Omens, and Ice Nine Kills all together live and it was a great show!

I recently got into Currents and they quickly because a top 3 band for me. They are absolutely amazing and the new album is insane.

I found currents about 2 months ago. Playing Spotify on my PlayStation and just really liked the band that popped up. So looked em up and been a fan ever since.

Though last sin, works too. I just always viewed the visual story as basically the fall out from a bad breakup with someone you really loved.
Lots of things are said throughout the course of relationships, things build up and people lash out in anger or deflection of guilt or whatever you want to choose.
There's a journal that he is holding in the last two scenes and I can tell you from experience, it took 100s of hours with pen to paper for me to find forgiveness in myself over how I hurt someone once.
I took the whole visual story as very visceral portrayal of a person getting over losing someone they loved purely by their own actions, especially if it was unexpected. Both people can end up getting really hurt by that situation, and not in a physical sense. Just my take, cheers.

My problem with currents is if you listen to their stuff in REVERSE chronological order, they'll get better With each album, so if u like their new stuff, you'll go back to the old stuff and say "where did this all go in their new stuff"
