Hi mellissa, not sure if it’s the same in the USA as the uk but pillows, comforters, towels, duvet etc we send to animal rescues as they are always in need of things like that and they don’t mind if they are used.. so it’s also just another way to help recycle and keep things out of land fill and helps animals in the process! Great video as normal xx
My local animal shelter will take them too. It gives the dogs something to lay on or keep warm with. Best place to donate these kinds of items. Sometimes, homeless shelters if they have washing and drying facility will also take them

Our local no kill shelter accepts washed comforters and blankets. The homeless shelter accepts them too as long as they are not stained and are washed.
The brand with the tree is Timberland! 😊 Also very pricey.

That little glittery prom purse was adorable. Whoever had this unit, had excellent taste in clothes. Usually they’re kind of a problem item, but so many of those were like brand new or still have tags. 👍

If they are real coach shoes keep the boxes as good condition as you can, even the boxes are worth money. Looks like you’re gonna do great with this one! I’m only quarter of the way through

You can donate blankets, etc. to animal shelters. This was a great storage unit.
you can take the blankets and pillows and comforters to animal shelters , they use them for the animals to sleep on.

If you have a animal shelter close they may take the blankets and throws you find if your willing to wash them and deliver to them.

Holy that is good ,those kids clothes are awesome .blankets can be used for animal shelters . What a haul .good luck selling it . Ohnext time bring ur neck fan that will keep you cool .my nephew used them during the summer they worked . Also keep water close by ,too hot not to have it in those storage places.🎉

I have seen your prior storage video, and you said you will not do it again because it was all garbage, but glad you changed your mind because this was an awesome storage unit, you are going to make a lot of money re selling all the name brand items❤❤❤
When i did storage units (twice), i laundered socks bras underwear and took to a shelter. Clothing i laundered, hung and sold at flea market. But all make up, hair products etc i threw away.
Never got hair though.
The one that was big squishy animal looks like blue Kool aid I think it's a squish mellow
Any time u have something sticky that cleaners just smear…use furniture polish or an oil based cleaner (let it soak in good), that will release the gummy/sticky.
I find unclaimed storage units to be depressing. All that $ spent on T shirts and shoes but the owners lost their home and then couldn't even pay to keep their stuff.
I totally understand how you feel. But if things like this didn't happen the storage place would just throw away everything so at least the stuff is going to good use.

@mildred, I find it somewhat depressing, too, because we don’t know what happened to the owners of the unit. 😟 I start thinking, “did they all die in a car wreck etc?” I know I have a wild imagination. 😅
I’m happy that Melissa can use the stuff and make money from it. As she mentioned, the storage owners would just throw the stuff away. 😊

Please educate yourself on brands and their values, even the boxes...Prada, Verace, Coach, the empty boxes, hold value. Some of those empty boxes alone would have paid for the storage unit. This was definitely a great unit. Congratulations

Fantastic Melissa! I’d sell those designer shoes on line. You can ask for a lot more money than the other. .The toys were up to date nice toys too the mail box was Blues Clues and some stuffies you showed looked like Cocoa Melon I think. I have grand kids why I recognize some of it. The clothes and hats Wow great finds Melissa one pair of those shoes could sell on line for $50+ and pay for your locker!
