Nice video! I’m wondering how the course has been marked and if you have crew points on each loop. I’m usually also ending up all by myself all alone with my horse on the trail. I guess that’s what endurance and perseverance is all about. Finishing with sound and healthy horse is such an accomplishment- and never forget the crew behind the 2. You pointed that out nicely 🤗👍🏻😍
The course is marked by a crew of amazing volunteersd and ride organisers! No we do not have crew points in Australia, we are all alone on track! I might make a video soon about Australian endurance as it does differ from other places around the globe. :)
Thanks for the trip down memory lane of what its like to own an Arab 😂! A forward horse is a thoroughbred 😂... an Arab is another kettle of fish...! I was a touch excited until, I realised you keep going back to the same place each time..... 🙄...... I was certainly wondering what saddle that was? since I've been out of the horse game for about 20 odd years... p.s super keen riding in a bit-less bridal 🤪 I would never have been able to pull Cherox shogun up 😂... He knew walk... trot 😂 (nah who am I kidding) and canter (nope still kidding that was reserved for on the spot) and galop.... Have a few horsey sites you may like that I love, Steve Young, & Free spirit equestrian along with Raleigh link (not that I like all of her vids). But they all have amazing horse training techniques that I could only wish they were around when I was younger in the horse world 😊
You are absolutely welcome! Arabs are the best! The saddle I am using in this video is called a Holmbros saddle, they are a specialty endurance saddle made here in Australia! :)
Obviously you took care of each other as the quick vet checks showed!! ❤🎉
