very nice instructional video ,great job.i like homemade stuff.my harley motorcycle is mostly handmade.what i couldnt afford or buy,i machined out and made.its way nicer than a bike built from a catalogue too.and you get that sense of pride in being creative.your switch my friend is awesome.cheers
Thanks so much for this video. I help teach children about magnets and basic electric circuits, frequently using reed switches. My first approach to designing a switch they could build themselves used two magnetic parts much like commercial reed switches, but your design is much easier to implement.
