Thats a very good song and poetry is beautiful. If i am not mistaken that this is the title track of a drama serial and it had a great story line. A beautiful but poor woman leaves her poor husband and small kid for a rich guy. She marries him and has 2 kids. The son grows up to be spoiled and criminal minded despite being rich and for money he has her own sister abducted. Husbnad gets into trouble and she goes to a young lawyer who is actually her own son. The son recognizes the mother but she doesnt and it goes like this. Very very old drama. And this song is played in that back drop.

And if i remember correctly it was late 80s or early 90s when that drama and this Beautiful song came out. And if i am not mistaken that lady and the son she had left both recognize each other when she goes to his office to hire him. The son grew up to be a highly qualified lawyer and the other one with the rich one was spoiled , womanizer , spend thrift and criminal minded who has his own sister abducted for ransom. And when she goes to the lawyer she recognizes her son cause of the name and the son ofcourse did recognize his mother who is the wife of a big shot. Both are pretending that they dont know but both do. Son is sarcastic and all. Great story and imagine if the script is great that mother son meetings in his office as lawyer client would be epic. And this song and the lyrics amazing.
yes you are right...the drama was Nasel directed by late Najam Uz Zaman.....the scene was very epic and the core of drama where the mother meets her son the lawyer as a client.... The mom was shown as greedy for money for which she left her first husband and this son (lawyer) in his childhood, and she married with a rich man. But this song is also epic and very, much relatable to the situation of entire broken family.... the mother was not guilty here as she was also a human being who had dream to live a life of leisure, so she sacrificed the emotions of her small son then and left the poor home to marry a rich man.....sad isn't it??
