Great informative video. I am needing some help with how to layer three sounds - piano, strings and a pad. I am having trouble laying a second sound on the synth engine without overwriting the first one. Can you point me to one of your videos on how to accomplish this? Thanks so much Douglas!
i wish you could make worship pad patches by recording one key and make them in to wav files this way we can use your samples like i would use your samples in Sunday keys using sampler/EXS24
Get vid bro. My old Motif seems more user friendly and better sounding in synths. But Nord looks slicker. Does it have a function similar to Roland’s “supernatural”?
Very informative. I bought my Stage 3 two weeks ago and most of the things you've talked I've found out by my own! So good to have a keyboard so intuitive ad opposed to my previous Kurzweil PC3X 😂. I'd love to see the Mod Env and LFO territory more covered though, because those are the parameters that I don't see as responsive as the other ones...
Is there a way to glide chords? I watched a video of a band called Athletic progression playing at the mentreux jazz festival and in the first song, in the chorus of the song he almost does a glide with the synth and I want to know how to do that.
Great video. I have the Nord Lead A1. Are the synth engines the same or at least similar between the Lead A1 and the Stage 3? If not which is more advanced? Thanks great demo 😁
"I'm not gonna show you how to build a synth sound" 30 seconds later: building a synth sound.
He couldn't resist the urge to teach Synth 😂😂 He's good at creating synths, though.

Way way overpriced, no better than any other synth/workstation and a lot of inherent limitations
I couldn't stop playing back chord sequence at 2:29 - Reminds me of an Owl City progression from "Take It Away"
Can you make a video on how to create a smashed piano sound? “Elevation piano”. Also, how do you use the compressor on the Nord?

I would love to make some worship pad samples to share...hopefully in the near future!

Very informative, thank you. I've had my Compact 73 for about half a year now, and need to learn more.
I see you like the new Corvette 😎
Thanks! Haha yes, love that car!
