Queer people in Gaza seek asylum in Israel and ask for help from the Queer people in Israel, like me. There's like a weird mental separation between reality and ideology that can't see the actual people whom they speak of. Because there's not a single lgbtq person who lived in Gaza and speaks for Gaza. Not a single one, and that speaks volumes. There is not a single one who lives there and would be able to speak freely without being raped and murdered.
6 facts you do not want to be lied about this subject: 1. Willingness vs Hate: The Jewish people leaders set through many two-state-solution plans and accepted them, not only before being a state but also after. Gaza could've been a state as well with 80% of the land - yet still chose NOT to be one, why? because "from the river to the sea" - ethnic cleansing. Hamas is a terror organization that was elected democratically, by who? the people in Gaza. 2. Casualties: The combatant-to-civilian death ratio in this war is unprecedented. The ratio in Gaza is about 1:1.5 and less than 1:2. In other words, for every combatant killed, around 1.5 civilians are killed. As a point of reference, according to the UN, civilians usually make up around 90 percent of casualties in war. That’s a 1:9 ratio (one combatant for every nine civilians). Every loss of civilian life is tragic, but with this ratio, not only should Israel not be accused of genocide (that’s obvious), world leaders should be applauding the IDF’s precision-strike capabilities. That is although Hamas uses their own people as human shields, putting their attack stations in homes, under hospitals, hiding behind their own people. Which makes the loss even higher as the population in Gaza is dense - rising from 100k in 1947 to 2M (a growth which is the opposite of what happens in a "ghetto”). If Hamas wouldn't have stolen billions for their leaders sitting in Qatar instead of investing in their people, and wouldn't have refused time and time again for two-state solution (even when offered 80% of the land), and wouldn't have terrorized Israelis for years and years, and wouldn't have been raping, murdering and kidnaping jews, christians, muslims and druze.... there would be no war. Not ever. There's this saying, if Israel put their guns, there would be a second holocaust - if Gaza put their guns down, there would be a state. 3. Apartheid: Israel is the only democratic state in the entire Middle East - where all of us, jews muslims christians druze can live as equals (yoseph haddad
@@tigress1girlone isreals acceptance of queerness doesnt now make it a good place nor should Palestinians now think their people don't deserve freedom bc they can be openly queer in isreal ,im a child of a nigerian immigrant and its illegal to be queer in niger should i now be insupport if their neo colonization or the sanction currently placed on them ?? Idgaf if every dam Palestinian was homophobic my solidarity with oppressed people isnt bend on if they like me or not . Using homophobia as an excuse to be ok with the killing of thousands of people apartheid and land theift , if you wouldn't be ok with the killing of thousands of southerners for being homophobic dehumanizing others is exactly the first step of evey genocide i will not put up with using my queerness as an excuse to dehumanize others.
at 40:00 I'm bawling my eyesout this is the same story over and over and over again the same thing happened (and in a minor scale keeps happening) here in Colombia, La Violencia the violence period, the paramilitary would have huge massacres of entire villages and then terrify people to leave their land and then they would buy or legalize "abandoned land" as the property of very rich families and companies. It's just so heartbreaking how we keep living this nightmare and then it gets studied and someone apologizes maybe in 100 years and move on to still talk about how they're the most civilized peaceful people. When is it going to stop like. I keep sharing and rising my voice but I feel so hopeless... it's so heartbreaking idk what to do
Thank you so much for your comment, so touching and sobering... What you are doing is NOT hopeless, it is so important to keep speaking up. What the president of Colombia has done, expelling Israeli diplomats and cutting ties completely, is MASSIVE, and it would not have happened without la gente colombiana! Muchas gracias por todos - no es facil pero juntos podemos cambiar mucho! Evil people will never learn from history because it does not benefit them, but we will never be silenced!

Thank you for the conversation. I am genuinely trying to understand these issues as a gay person. One thing i find baffling is that many muslim people are still very reluctant to criticise the actions of the muslim institution in the same way that the catholic church or christianity has been exposed for the institutional abuses and opression of queer and trans people. We can hold multiple views, i.e love our God and culture but still acknowledge the problems. It makes me feel that we are protecting abusers and opressors in the islamic faith.

This response is filled with the typical propaganda straight from Israel, including blaming Hamas for the bombs ISRAEL and the US are dropping on civilians, medics, journalists, all constituting a war crime. Classic victim blaming. Meanwhile, you concentrate on the homophobia in Gaza while, again, ignoring the historic context that laws against LGBTQ+ people were put in place by the colonial british empire which sold the land to jewish settlers to become the state of Israel. You don't have to condone the actions of Hamas to see that Israel is an obvious colonial state and by encouraging the Israeli military to unilaterally settle and destroy Gaza and the West Bank, it only harms Palestinian Queers who have no freedom of movement thanks to ISRAELI laws and subjugation. While we're on the subject, Israel's own allies in the region, such as Egypt, Saudi Arabia and the UAE also have completely barbaric ideas and practices regarding queer people. Israel settlers who originate from other parts of the world and began to settle Palestine primarily post late 19th century are not "indigenous" to the region. They haven't lived in that region for centuries, a region, might I add, which is an intersection of 3 continents and has hosted dozens of cultures that still exist today, including the Greeks. The people who were living there most recently for hundreds of years were primarily Arabs under Ottoman rule, until Jewish settlers from other parts of the world began buying land from the British Empire. BTW the biblical "Philistines" aren't the modern day Palestinians. It's just the name the Romans chose after they conquered the area, and so it became the name of the land. Israel simply followed the trend of other western colonial states, like the US, Australia, etc., and began adopting more queer tolerance as a result of the ability of queer people in those countries to advocate for themselves because of their position of privilege. Being displaced, subjugated and attacked for decades is obviously going to hamper queer liberation in Palestine. Of course, when Israel deals with Saudi Arabia or the UAE, their violent homophobia no longer is an irredeemable evil lol. Obviously the intersection of colonialism, queer rights and religious orthodoxy are going to be complex, but Israeli settlers have an agenda to paint so they will ignore all of the factors that led to the current state of queer rights in Palestine. Meanwhile, the "queer liberation" Israel is offering Palestine is for their queer people's homes to be leveled, and for queer Israeli's to move on top of their corpses.

@rather_be_known934 queers cannot be openly queer in Palestine. It is illegal there. Do you know that gay men have been murdered in Palestine just for being gay? One of whom was in Hamas. That's a genocide. Where were the protests from the LGBTQI community?
Yes, i want the liberation of queer palestinians. Thats why i support israel in the efforts to root out the jihadist death cult hamas and help create a democrat secular society that respects all palestinians
to do that they will need an army, police force, port, control of their airspace, their border and among many things a state.....all things that Israel has made clear they are against no matter what happens after this war...by the same Jewish extremists in power currently who want to limit queer rights for Israelis as well
@@FreyjaFoxx.xwhich would require the future government of this combined Israel/Palestinian state to allow the right of return to the Palestinian diaspora required by international and even confirmed by Israeli attorneys Israeli law which would shift the population from a Jewish majority to a Palestinian majority....which the Israelis have also rejected

How is it that you live openly as yourself in Canada but cannot come out to your Palestinian family if right before you were equating the homophobia in both places? Frankly, I don't buy your arguments. Let me know when Palestinian becomes as "homophobic" as the West. Then, they could host a World Pride as did Tel-Aviv.
We’re not saying there’s no homophobia in Palestine or that it’s the same as in the west. Simply, our guest is saying it’s not what the media tells you it is

3. Israel are indigenous. According to the San Remo agreement Palestine was meant to be given to the Jews. The Arabs were allowed to live there but they werent soverigns to the land. True 1948 Israel became a state but Palestine did not become a state until much later. In 1948 5 Arab countries attacked Israel because they did not recignise Israel having their own state. As to ethnic cleansing how many Muslims live in Israel? How many Jews live in Arab nations?
what is on paper cannot speak to the real experience of the people. Jews, Muslims and Christians were living on that land peacefully prior to the Israeli occupation. BUT, even if that were true, does that justify a genocide?
@QueerCollective a piece of paper if a legally binding document can set out the rights of people to a land. The only genocide that happened recently was on October 7th where terrorists killed innocent people, children and babies. The IDF's only target are Hamas who are evil, who hide amongst innocent people. Hamas don't care about their own citizens.
I don’t claim that Hamas is “good” but wowwww is that narrative ever false. I highly suggest watching Johnny Harris’ video on the conflict between Israel and Palestine. It’s very well researched and speaks from fact rather than catering to one side. I think you might find it enlightening
@@QueerCollective 25 000 Palestinians killed in Jordan in 1970.How do you call that ? When its nts not attempting genocide then you have moral or any other right to even think about accusing Israel from genocide. And Im reacting as a person who will stand to end in defence against any possible treath What you are actually doing is very dangerous. And Mahmoud is the most dangerous person who will be responsible for mant killed LGBT people when this will all eplode.
@QueerCollective a piece of paper says who owns the land and who can live there. Someone can't just go to your place and take it over. You have a legal right to live there because of a piece of paper called a tenancy agreement or a mortgage document. Also, Israel can't occupy a land that is theirs in the first place. Archaeology proves that. The only ones that performed a genocide were Hamas and the Arab nations. There were many hundreds of thousands of Jews in Muslim countries. There aren't now. Why because the Muslims performed a genocide.

Again with these insanely misleading maps and consistent failure to mention that: 1) Jews who migrated to Israel after 1880 where Jews had always been but more came almost all arrived as refugees from Russian pogroms, nazi Holocaust and later from being ethically cleansed out of EVERY SINGLE MUSLIM COUNTRY, 50% of the Jews in Israel today are the Arabic Jews genocided out of every single Muslim country and their descendants so if they’re white so is the entire Middle East, 2) Muslim violence on Jewish homes and settlements long predates the state of Israel in the region 3) Early Palestinian leaders evolved around the aim of ethnically cleansing Israel of its Jews and that has changed very little over time which is why they’ve always declined any two-state solution they do not want two states Palestinian leaders have largely wanted to continue fighting with the aim of killing or expelling all the Jews. But the Jews have nowhere to go… Where can they go? Back to the Muslim countries that genocided them? To Europe or America? Because those citizenships are so easy to procure? 3) Those “land expansions” were the product of wars of extermination waged on Israel in its cradle by local Palestinians and Arab nations… In 1948 and in 1967 Israel was forced to fight defensive wars to survive and when they won, which they barely did in 1967, they did what every other state did at the time which was expand their borders and try to establish some sort of control to the threats on their borders. In identally the “Nakba” was a response to the 1948 war when Israel declared independence they gave all Muslims within their original borders citizenship and full rights it was Palestinians in the areas fought over in 1948 who were dislocated because the leaders in those areas chose to wage war rather than accept to live alongside Jews. 4) I am not even Jewish but I’m a student of history and Jews are a TINY religious minority in the world that is THE MOST persecuted group of people in the history of the world proportionately in recent centuries and over time as a whole… So when you film videos like this what you’re doing is hopping on a trend to contribute to an atmosphere of hostility towards the single handedly most oppressed group in the history for man… Why won’t any of you stop and think or just have the humility to pick up a history book?

@@QueerCollective that means that 1,880 people either didn't like it or didn't captivate them enough to hit the like button. Of course you'll get the views because just like how I'm here I'm trying to understand the other side of things I don't support you in any way whatsoever other than me commenting and even at that I don't mind boosting your algorithm cuz the more people see it the more of a disparaged view to like ratio will be. If 2k heard me say the say the world was flat and only 120 people liked my statement would you think I have a overwhelming acceptance of my point of view? Also 2k divided by 120 is 16% that's pretty low.. if I got a 16% on a test would you say I passed or failed? 84% of the peoe who watched this just kept scrolling.
@@QueerCollective You say you are for free speech but when facts are stated you cowardly delete them. Here are 6 facts you do not want to be lied about this subject: 1. There is not a single one who lives there and would be able to speak freely without being raped and murdered.

at 40:00 I'm bawling my eyesout this is the same story over and over and over again the same thing happened (and in a minor scale keeps happening) here in Colombia, La Violencia the violence period, the paramilitary would have huge massacres of entire villages and then terrify people to leave their land and then they would buy or legalize "abandoned land" as the property of very rich families and companies.

Thank you Moody for sharing your story ❤

These people doesn't seem to want to listen to the truth. Your talking to the woke.
You are right. These people do not understand.
Yay! Love to see fellow queers in solidarity with Palestjne

6 facts you do not want to be lied about this subject:

Genocide is never justifiable
to do that they will need an army, police force, port, control of their airspace, their border and among many things a state.....all things that Israel has made clear they are against no matter what happens after this war...by the same Jewish extremists in power currently who want to limit queer rights for Israelis as well
@danielcarrillo4385 or you can annex the territories and bring them under full israeli administration lol

And Im reacting as a person who will stand to end in defence against any possible treath
What you are actually doing is very dangerous.
This video is the worst example why many queers will suffer because of all that lies that a have been spoken.Litteraly from 3.30 every single word except his grandmother is a disgusting lie.

There is not a single one who lives there and would be able to speak freely without being raped and murdered.
6 facts you do not want to be lied about this subject:
Again with these insanely misleading maps and consistent failure to mention that:
1) Jews who migrated to Israel after 1880 where Jews had always been but more came almost all arrived as refugees from Russian pogroms, nazi Holocaust and later from being ethically cleansed out of EVERY SINGLE MUSLIM COUNTRY, 50% of the Jews in Israel today are the Arabic Jews genocided out of every single Muslim country and their descendants so if they’re white so is the entire Middle East,
2) Muslim violence on Jewish homes and settlements long predates the state of Israel in the region
3) Early Palestinian leaders evolved around the aim of ethnically cleansing Israel of its Jews and that has changed very little over time which is why they’ve always declined any two-state solution they do not want two states Palestinian leaders have largely wanted to continue fighting with the aim of killing or expelling all the Jews.
4) I am not even Jewish but I’m a student of history and Jews are a TINY religious minority in the world that is THE MOST persecuted group of people in the history of the world proportionately in recent centuries and over time as a whole… So when you film videos like this what you’re doing is hopping on a trend to contribute to an atmosphere of hostility towards the single handedly most oppressed group in the history for man…
Why won’t any of you stop and think or just have the humility to pick up a history book?
