While many will say not to clean coins (I think it's good advise), consider 2 factors in this case; 1) Coin had no numismatic value as it was crusty, and 2) It's your coin, do with it as you please.
I found your video very therapeutic & the coin certainly looked much better. From what I've learned watching videos for 4 years, about coins, you just ruined the coins value by cleaning it.

Not really, videos of people cleaning coins and sending them off to get graded (top grading co.) and it comes back MS 67 or higher.
