I’ve just returned to the USA after 4 years in China. It’s funny that the things you experienced as “reverse culture shock” were things I experienced as “culture shock” when I arrived in China. Especially the tissue and looking tooooo close for tooooo long 😂
I have also experienced reverse culture shock whenever I have a chance to return to the USA. It's now been nearly 4 years since I last visited the USA, and I think I will feel like a "foreigner" by the time we get to go back "home." I laughed at your #2 point, that's definitely a big difference from West to East. I also laughed at the 'advanced math' comment about percentages for your children. I carry Tp with me, here.
@@ruizhang4231 It's been four years since the last time I was in the USA...I feel like I don't even know what it's like there anymore! Maybe after the next time I can return.
So funny to hear what now shocks you about visiting China. I feel even I have this a little 'reverse culture shock' after spending so much time in other countries and then coming back to Scotland. It's both good and bad as it also makes me appreciate what I love about the people and the country! Thanks for sharing your funny little anecdotes that definitely make me laugh out loud!
Hey Rui, ich heiße Josefine, ich bin 14 Jahre alt und komme aus Deutschland. 🇩🇪🙂 我爱看你的影片!❣ I'm very interested in other countries and I love learning languages. 🤩 Since I was in Taiwan 2018 for 2 weeks I learn Chinese and I just love this fascinating language and all the characters!🇨🇳😍🇹🇼 À l'école j'apprends le français et parfois j'apprends un petit peu espagnol pendant mon temps libre. 🇨🇵😊🇪🇦 你的孩子很可爱!🥰 Watching them use all the languages is so adorable.🤠💞😇 They even encouraged me to focus more on learning French because I actually was so fascinated and focused on learning Chinese that I almost forgot learning French during the Lockdown. 🙁😅 I would love to get to know more about the German-French Kindergarten your kids go to, maybe you could make a video about it or let your children tell!😀💟 Do they speak mostly German there or just a little? I also love to see your family in the daily life interacting with the languages, that's so cool and inspiring! Looking forward for your next Videos!💗😄 Salutations d'Allemagne 🤗
Hey Josefine, danke für deinen netten Kommentar in vier verschiedenen Sprachen! 你才14岁就会这么多门语言,真的很厉害! Mes enfants passent deux jours à apprendre le français et deux jours à apprendre l'allemand dans leur école. Il n'y a pas d'école mercredi. It's very nice meeting you through UA-cam! You are very talented in learning languages! Keep it up:)
Love your video, totally agreed with what you said in the video. I have the same experience. :)

I would love to watch you sharing reverse culture shock in the US if you haven't done one?

Are mixed children in China as badly seen as "Hafu" in Japan ? ;)
No they think mixed children are beautiful, especially if they get "big eyes".
