Hi Scotty, I think it only worked for you because your ear had been on salty water for sometime, the salt "unglued" the wax and then when you showered your ear it was easy to come out. It didn't work for me, will try some salty water. But thank you 👍🏻

Was 4 days into a week vacation in Mexico when my right ear became blocked. This typically happens once a year and I’ve tried over the counter products and normally end up at a walk in clinic where the excess was is flushed. Decided to visit the medic here in Mexico who I thought might flush out the ear. Instead I was written a prescription for some drops, told the ear was fine, and given the option to take a cab to the nearest hospital (10 mins away). Headed back to the room and found your channel. One thing I must say is that I was sure my ear was blocked because of a waxy build-up and water. I rigged up a small water bottle, hotel pen and got started with some gentle flushing. 3 bottles of warm water and BAM......out came the wax. People may write all kinds of negative things here but in my case I’m happy to say I’m back in a good mood and finishing off my vacation on a happy note.

OMG it really works.... It literally took me 20 seconds to do this
It works like charm! I will also give you some tips:
Do not use hot water, just use warm water and if u have you can add some baticone, but not much.
Before doing it, put some drops of oil to your ear and wait like 5 minutes. If you dont have oil, take 15 minute hot - steamy shower to make your ear wax relaxed.
Do not put it into very deep of your ear and try to be gentle while squeezing the bottle. Try to squeeze harder each time if it does not work. But NEVER squeeze it with full power.
Do not do this if you feel any pain in your ear. Your ear may be infected and you should to see a doctor.

Hi Scotty. I have been suffering with the same condition for 4 days, and started a course of antibiotics, drops, etc. I had no pain, but you get that disconnected feeling from normal life. I tried your technique 15 minutes ago, and the wax started falling out into the sink after the first go. I've now got my hearing back to normal. Thank you so much. You've saved me further treatment at the hospital. What a relief!

This is actually a miracle. I have had clogged ears for the past week and I was suffering so bad. I got my mum to help me syringe my ear and it popped. I can finally hear again 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I would also recommend using otex sodium bicarbonate ear drops for a few days to soften the wax before trying this method ☺️

Glad you can hear again! Having worked in a doctors surgery and seen many an ear-syringing session I can tell you I have never seen black ear wax before, you may want to keep an eye on that. Also the drops you were using probably softened the wax. No Practice nurse will syringe an ear unless the wax has been loosened first (they usually suggest olive oil) due to it being painful and not working. So never try this home remedy unless you are certain the wax is soft!

Black/brown earwax is just old dried out wax, nothing to be concerned about.

When I'm taking a hot shower I usually just let the hot water go from the shower head right into my ear. I tilt back my head so my ear is facing up and let the hot water fill up my ear and flow around my ear for a few seconds the dump it out. I do that a few times and the wax is cleared out. No bottle needed.

I've heard of this technique and it's success but I've also heard it can cause a more serious problem. If the wax fails to come out the water can get trapped between the wax and the ear drum that can then lead to a bacterial infection. The water flushing method was stopped in most places in favour of micro suction. Glad it worked for you and other people on here though.

Just tried this, worked a treat, I'm on holiday in Mexico, would have ruined my holiday, I couldn't hear a thing in my left ear, after about my second bottle a little black ball of wax fell out my ear, cheers dude!

@@KillerFoXz37 They say not to use vegetable, canola, or olive oil in your ear because it can get really bad. Because of the texture, not all of it slides out like water, so some gets stuck in your ear and can lead to an infection. Hydrogen peroxide can be bad as well if you already have an ear infection. They say to use mineral or baby oil to help get it out as well as the warm water.
after i did this with 1 liter of water... it feels me so dizzy .. i think my brain is full of water shit!

It's worth noting that those ear drops take time. Ear was absorbs the solution and loosens up which makes it easier for your ear canal to irrigate the wax out naturally. The water bottle/pin worked because the was was already loosened by the solution.
The drops take a few days otherwise.

After my ear was dry again I have put a few drops of castoroil in it, which is antibacterial and antifungal. I used castoroil for one day to make the wax soft, before I did this flush.
Man.. I have to thank you.. I went to the doctor yesterday almost had a fight with the dude.. he said my ear is clean.. but I couldn't hear much in my left ear.. then I woke up in the middle of the night.. and my left ear is completely blocked with a ringing sound to it.. I tried the bottle with a pen thing.. and just chunks of wax came out.. I was surprised..

I'd recommend using clean drinking water/Distilled water, in case your tap water is not clean.

It works. I tried it and it worked immediately. If you don't have a pen, no problem. Just make a very tiny hole in the bottle cap so that the water ozzes out with pressure like in a shower head. Works!
better to buy those syringes that have the special "onion bulb" tip. theyre designed for ear wax removal. the onion bulb tips have 3 holes on the sides so that when you inject warm water into the ear canal you are not shooting it directly at the ear drum. good bit safer than using this home made system. anyway, glad it worked out for you.
This guy's method can burst your ear drum. I have one of those syringes made for loosening and removing ear wax safely
Instead of buying the drops to soften the wax, you can use club soda. Had to have this done by a doctor and he had me soften it up by putting carbonated water in them every 4 hours for 3 days. That's if you have impacted residue or sensitive ears as the pressure can be painful.
I have had an average of six ear infections a year since I was a child. After I finally got ear tubes in my ears when I was at university I noticed I was getting more earwax. I had to resort to having my dr remove it since it was so bad and it was too much for me to do at home. I don't know if you watched the videos where drs pull out chunks but it's disgusting but so worth it as I can hear. It's the little things in life that make us happy lol

It' one thing to clear out your ear cause it's dirty. When you can't hear out of your fucking ear for 5 days, that is totally different asshat. That is serious shit, I advised her to get off youtube DIYs and go to a real doctor.

my left ear was blocked for about a week, looked up on youtube and found your video, your video gave me the idea to use my waterpik over the bathroom sink, on the lowest setting with warm water, omg it all came out and was brown.
Thank you so much! I ended up using one of those bottles filled with lamp oil as they have a nozzle built in. Replaced oil with water and a little soap and it worked like a charm!

So there's a condition called "glue ear", and it's basically an infection of the air-filled space behind the eardrum. Meaning, normally you should have air behind the eardrum, at the middle ear. Glue ear is when the middle ear fills with a sticky, glue-like fluid instead of air. It messes with hearing, and can affect balance as well as a few other things. It's fairly easily treated, but if left alone can definitely cause some damage, it might be worth having a go to a clinic just to be sure there's no infection!! Seems like you probably got it cleaned out, that was pretty clever using that water bottle and pen device though!!

I had a blocked ear for the first time, a couple of days before I was going to meet my future employer and colleagues, so I definitely didn't want to go there being half deaf. I first made an appointment with the doctor to flush it out, but they only had time after one week. So yesterday I tried your method and it worked perfectly! Already with the first flush some wax was coming out, but I had to repeat it a number of times to get everything out. So today I could go to my future workplace without any worries 😊

For me I tilt my head facing the ground/sink and "Full Blast" my Shower head at my ear. The reason why I tilt my head facing the ground is to allow gravity ensure that the water would come out of my ear without being trapped.
The force of the "Full Blasted" water helps flushes the ear wax out. During my attempts on myself, it worked pretty effectively so far.
My ear wax would then literally come out in big chunks. I highly recommend you all to do this next time if you have clogged ear wax.
But please also make sure you dry your ears properly right after to prevent unnecessary ear infection (Swimmers ear)
Also, if you still have additional problems, I recommend taking a hot shower. Before you leave your shower room, start cleaning your ears immediately using the aforementioned methods.
In theory, the heat coming out during your hot shower would help in melting your ear wax, therefore making it easier to be flushed out by the "full blasted" water.
If none of the methods worked, I suggest your final resort would be to visit a doctor. Do not attempt to do anything else to your ears as you would risk permanently damaging your ears.
Yes it's very annoying like something blocked in my ear, I used to clean with cotton buds but then it really get into worst... I cant sleep at night untill I watch your video, it really helps me a lot. Wow!!! amazing my ear backs to normal...

CerealKiller1349 went after 3 weeks :) i only get it wen i think about it, i didnt even need to go to a gp. Idk the cause but i just changed my diet (eat lots of fruit veg and less salt), changed sleep pattern and worked out more.

This helps with eustation tube constantly closing off no matter how many times you pop your ear. This method works.

Gravity fed water trickle is more gentle. pressurizing the ear canal can be very painful and even dangerous to your ear. I recomend using a new enima bag and use it just for your ears in the tub or shower. Use warm but not hot water

Aye thank you so much, I did this with a Gatorade bottle earlier today and it’s so nice, I finally have my hearing back in my ear. I waited for almost 4 days and nothing ever helped but then when I did this I had like 3 huge clumps just come out and wow. I was surprised how effective this actually was. Man i woke up feeling like i had something in my ear , i pushed the wax ..eww haha with a cotton swab and it got super fucked up ,so i figured that was what was happening ,blockage . I looked around, lots of bottles and not so sharp tools (i make models lol ) well nothing could help. and then i went trough every shop in the town to look for the kind of pen you can screw into the bottle, they didnt have it . was about to make it myself by glueing the two pieces together ,aaaaand i found this hair dye . inmediatly dumped the peroxide cleaned the bottle 25 times and tried, the 1st trough 5th nothing, i walked my dog feeling the bad situation but very caLm, even laughingly that i was deaf from 1 ear (bad joke i know) . Came back did it 1 more time a bit hotter water (not too hot) .Boom ( no discharge cause i had been at it for a while ) but yeah like brownish water . ewww .. hahahhaa thanks !!

@@antresia.9723 no you have to pump it in there like a fucking fire hydrant ( in my experience you will be scared and fuck it up first ), but the water is already softening a very brownish color expect to be impressed . Then wait a while as I wrote while still half deaf and the second time warm water full power as much as you can squeeze the bottle and I felt everything coming off and. RELIEF

Natalie G like do u tilt your head to wear it stays in your ear or just squirt in your ear with a decent amount of pressure and then some one the wax should start to fall out due to the warm water making it loosen up

Hi I have had 3 surgeries on my left ear and I have a draining problem since it no longer pushes out the wax on that side so I get wax build up horrible in my ear. :( I used debrox and it crackled like pop rocks and softened it so now its liquefied but I cant get it out. :{ Did you tilt your head down towards the floor when to went to wash it out?

Thank you so much. I was little scared at first but after 5 bottles of water finally i was able to get rid of a peanut size wax ball from inside after forcing the water through the ballpen nozzle. For me squeezing the bottle harder forcing the water into ear worked. Thanks a lot once again :) guys it works really !!!
There is no danger in this method since its just water (luke warm) and warm water makes the wax soluble and brings it out from inside.

Just so you know, seeing you did it successfully, I followed your steps and ended up with a bacterial and fungal ear infection. It's been 2 weeks since my ear is infected and blocked. I'm sure you're happy with your almost million views and all the money you're getting from the video but I don't recommend anyone to mess with their ears at home like this.

So many things wrong with this video, and I find it concerning he felt the need to recommend that OTHER people do this to themselves as well. Cobbling together unsanitary household objects you've got laying around and using water that isn't sterile/purified is a recipe for disaster. Not to mention, squeezing the bottle too hard or inserting the tip of anything too far into your canal could seriously do some damage to your ear(s). Squirting a liter of water into your ear canal is just plain unsafe, some of that liquid is bound to get stuck in your ear and invites the opportunity for an ear infection. It's unfortunate you got an infection but be thankful that was all that happened. We're really not meant to be poking around in our ears as they're designed to clean themselves, and a normal amount of wax is actually healthy for your ear. This man has a responsibility to his audience not to be doing or recommending anything that would be unsafe or have adverse effects on overall health. Not what this platform is for... For all the people that said they tried it and it worked, there are bound to be several others like yourself that ended up with similar issues, or worse.

I did this and it fixed my total hearing loss in my rigjt ear but when i did tje left now i cant hear at all out if it and its ckogged with water

i need to get my right ear unclogged...happened one other time...i went to the Dr. he said "don't worry i love cleaning out ears you're going to feel great afterwards. won't be painful either." yeah the pain during was excruciating and left me with a bloody ear and a migraine...i think i'll try your method...did it hurt?
Paul M wtf, doctors are supposed to ask if your ear is hurting before they do this. If it is hurting as well as blocked, they're not allowed to use this method as it can rupture your ear drum with the pressure. I suggest you do not go to this doctor again. Btw, the docs supposed to make sure the wax is softened before trying to flush it out. This method can't be used for hardened wax.

If it works it works. The more that people get the basic knowledge out there the more it helps people. It is amazing tho how one small simple idea can have such an impact around thr world and with millions of people.i guess thats how all great things come to be tho
