I totally agree with books that are over 600 pages, EXCEPT for Manacled haha I wanted that world to be eternal! I hope the hangover was kind to you Gina 😅
You're right about Good Girl's Guide to Murder. It was absolutely cringe. I had a hunch it would be as I've realised that I really don't jive with YA murder mystery. 😅 Also, awesome video!
The worst part about overly long books is that they're almost always part of a series, and that series almost always was obviously not planned out. Like damn, you could've cut these last 300 hundred pages and used them in book 2 so the narrative actually flows naturally
I've noticed that at least most of the "lighter" books has 2 limits, 200 and 300 pages. Less than 200, plot and characters have no time to evolve and usually writer has to do some instant plot resolving in the end. More than 300 and there is not enough "meat on the plots bones" and writer has to bring some stupid drama, crime or totally not relatable situation to get enough pages.
@@geenahreads your not missing out. though if you do get drunk enough to get hungover i sugesst doing it in the uk in winter so you can have a fry up and a roast dinner to get over it.
I’m exposing myself here….I was the one who asked the coolest questions lmao
Also damn so many kind words omg 😢
@@Smitty1423 and you’re deserving of every last one!
Shoutout for How to Train Your Dragon being transcendent! Also this video was perfection.
Drunk Gina is something I didn't know I needed
She doesn’t come out often but when she does, she’s not a bad time!

I can't blame you for needing to drink to watch that movie
A part of me wishes I had done it for all three or at least for the second one also. It made it so much more enjoyable
@@geenahreads most likely there's a reason alot of people prefer the Rankin-Bass movie animated by what would become studio Ghibli
It's not a bad trilogy, just that LOTR before Hobbit is so damn good trilogy that expectations are really high.
We love drunk Gina ❤
girl the zelda games are my favorite of all time. so so good.
Sigh. Here I go downloading yet another game
I would never in a million years have guessed that you played Valorant, let alone enjoyed it 😂
