Thank you so much to the photographer who stood and videotaped this whole thing. I tried to watch it on several different apps who said it was free and it wasn't. The worst part is when they stop the entire parade just to have some Broadway number dance and prance around for the camera for 5 minutes. That's NOT a parade! Just let the parade roll!
And on this video of the parade, we get to see many things the tv does not show because they feel the need to put commercials on,,,I especially love seeing all the people dressed up and the smaller floats and the balloon handlers as well! ☺️🥰🌈
As much as I like the performances at Macy's this is much better. I love watching the PARADE... no commercials no commentary. Just like what I would see if I was standing there.

To USA TODAY and the Associated Press reporter that covered this, thank you so much for your uninterrupted and de-monitized coverage of this years parade. TV stations around the country should take lessons from you on how to do this. Thank you again and Merry Christmas 🎄

Floats, marching bands from across the USA, incredible balloons, clowns, celebrities, amazing handlers and parade crew. Parade Perfection perfectly presented without the TV coverage spin!
I watched the parade every year growing up but lately I've been having to work every Thankgiving so I've been missing it. I'm glad I'm still able to watch it even if it's later in the week.
Thank you so much for posting this. It gives you the real feeling of being there. Spectacular! Love the sounds of the crowd cheering! Thank you so much!
Thanks so much for this beautiful video, I really felt like I was there! Thank you New York for sharing your wonderful parade with the rest of us, it was so great to actually hear the sounds of the parade instead of commentator chatter. So glad you guys got some good weather!
It's always nice to see the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade every year. Regardless of all the terrible things that have been happening all over the world these days, watching the Macy's parade always puts a smile on my face.
I woke up a few minutes after the parade ended in the morning. I never got to see the parade in-person as a child when I lived in New York, but now I understand why my parents told me it takes so long to get there and to wake up so early to get to the subway. I would still love to see those cool floats in-person.
I agree, best coverage!!! Much better than watching on normal TV with so many commercials and no ground coverage. Hope you do this again next year, same way.
Thank you, thank you, thank you. I've been watching Macy's Parades for 65 years or so, since I was a little kid in the NY area. I've lived abroad for a long time, and events like this bring back memories of the best of the United States of America. Every kind of person represented in the parade and among the crowd. Every kind of music. Everyone filled with happiness, not fear. And thank you, especially, for showing the signs. I have heard of Jordan Davis and Josh dela Cruz, but I wouldn't have recognized their faces from John Doe without the signs. In your future netcasts, please be sure your camera continues to capture the signs that identify the next thing we're going to see. I had no idea there was a historically black college called Benedict College in South Carolina, and, at the age of 71, I had no idea who Ada Twist, Scientist was until I saw the signs and could look them up. No signs? No learning about them. No learning about them and understanding why people were excited, and watching the parade is much less fun. And this is in just the first 27 minutes. Again, thank you, from a viewer far, far away who used to subscribe to the print edition of USA Today when I lived and worked in the USA. Oh, and lest I forget, a million thanks to the Macy's employees and extra police who give up their Thanksgiving morning to bring so much happiness to others.
Great l can see it on youtube, cause l have missed to watch the thanksgiving parade this morning..l,m from Quebec, Canada and l always like you parade every years.. Happy Thanksgiving to everybody..(:-)
Thank you for telling us this. I had no idea the Thanksgiving Day Parade was held by store employees, to encourage customers to shop for Christmas. I am starting to feel really badly for all the advertisers. They are just trying to sell us stuff we already want and need. We always turned off the television during the ads at our house. Forty years later, and I can not afford to purchase most of the things I see advertised on television. I don't think that is a coincidence. My mother constantly ridiculed me and made me feel badly when I did things like ask for a violin when I was four. She did it again when I was seven, and I asked for ballette lessons. She made fun of me and made me feel badly about myself just for asking. She is the one that turned off the television during the advertisements. She also hits me all the time. Then she threatens to put me in prison. She does it all the time. Now I try my best to watch as many advertisements as I can, after taking a business class at college. I wish we had a way to watch advertisements when we want to. The live television does not allow us to re-watch advertisements.
Thank you for showing the parade my daughter really wanted to see the balloons and was sad when ABC kept cutting away. We found this and I hope you do it every year. ❤️
