The Chaos Emeralds look really cool here. If only they were used in the story to show off their detail more.
Okami O'Donnell If only the game were more than 4 hours... They could have done so much with the story, but they kinda dropped the ball on a lot of things. Especially Chaos. And Shadow. And Infinite. And Silver. And Classic Sonic. ESPECIALLY Classic Sonic.
Wait... why aren’t the chaos emeralds used in the story? Seems like they would be *really* helpful, it would make the game longer, super sonic wouldn’t have to be DLC, it would have been great
@The AnimatorGuy Aaaaand because they needed to take the Emeralds out of the plot because the second Sonic got his hands on them, he would wipe the floor with Infinite in two seconds and the game would be over.

To be fair I finished Sonic Generations in less than 4 hours so the length isn’t the problem it’s the story
@@ajsabum yeah, and that's not a problem there because the story clearly isn't the focus, so the game is obviously going to be much shorter. In Forces, where they heavily focus on the story, you should expect it to be a decent length. And not just that, the levels are way smaller and way worse designed, so that's also a problem.
So did they not think of collecting the chaos emeralds to defeat infinite?

the dlc didn’t release yet this was found in the game’s files hope fully there will be an extra boss or something
I looked this up a while back, and this includes Sonic Mania. Even if Sonic used the Chaos Emeralds to activate his Super Form, the Phantom Ruby can cancel out the Emeralds power and Super Form, even the Master Emerald.

The one thing that pissed me off with this game is how shadow is literally the reason infinite is the way he is..... yet they have no dialogue....... no story progression and shadow doesn't say a damn thing in the main game...... wtf
I mean, in Episode Shadow he talks to Infinite, so they HAVE dialogue, and he talks sometimes in the ratio and in the game ratio-scenes

Burning Ash going super for the OC would be hard since they’d have to code in a color palette change for every possible OC

Well, that's only the Modern Sonic stages. There are also Classic Sonic and OC stages as well.
The thing I hate but understand about supersonic is that it activates INSTANTLY once you collect 50 rings. But then again, these levels are littered with rings in the hundreds, or the game files don’t have a special modification for manual supersonic yet

Best sonic game tied with generations
I bought Super Sonic off of The PlayStation Store but I don't know how to activate it or use it on the stages of Super Sonic. Someone please tell me how.
First go to any modern level (except the bosses) and you will see sonic's face in tbe top right hand corner and toggle using the control stick to change it to super sonic's face then play the level like normally and once you get 50 rings the game will turn sonic into super sonic.

I have a feeling that Sega may pull a BOTW, and give us a Sonic game that truly restores Sonic's popularity. Hey, listening to fans works for Nintendo.
Listening to fans *_IS_* one of Sega current problems with the Sonic series because they're trying too hard to please them all, even though the fanbase is divisive as heck. Too many fans want different things, and hardly can't agree with eachothers. Nintendo don't have to deal the same problems that Sega does because their fanbase isn't total divided warring mess. And the fact, Nintendo know better who to listen to.
At this point, let's just hope that Sega can do a much better job with next Sonic game. After all, they should have more time to work on the next game unlike Forces, who actually had one year of development time. Not only that, have *_BETTER_* people, and a larger team working on the next game. Who knows? The next game might turned out great. After all, we did got games like Unleashed, Colors, and Generations after the dumpster fire known as 06.

Very simple game but still kinda fun
Imagine a vise versa where sonic forces was the best 3D game ever and a epic set of long stages and Mania was sonic 4 with shorter stages...
*sigh* I'll never forget the moment they announced sonic Forces and gave us this song with no vocals... I was so excited, everyone saying this game was going to be great because it's been in development for 4 years, the song being so good and full of references made me so hyped up, until the game came out and it turned out to be what it is (and the song with vocals now is kinda shitty)
First of all I didn't know you that you could talk just like Lucy loud from the loud house and second of all even though he doesn't wear a yellow cape like many other superheroes, Super Sonic is a super fast and super brave superhero.
