I also own a spec v. And this car is not one. The spec v comes with a 6 speed manual transmission and much better seats. Especially the red interior.

The Spec-v trim only had a 6 speed CVT standard transmission. This must be a SER. Then I scroll down and see a week prior someone made the same comment. Excellent

The Rockford Fosgate System was available in the regular SE-R though... I know that because my wife used to own a 2003 Sentra SE-R which had it.

This is not a Spec V. Spec Vs only come with manual transmission and 17 in wheels.

It's easy to predict that this vehicle won't sit around too long, specially if the dealership price it right, because this is the top version of the whole Sentras' lineup, with a lovely colour combination too boot. On the downside it's an automatic, and in addition, the early 2.5L engines had pesky reliability problems. That however must have been sorted-out by now, as the car looks sharp and well taken care. All in all, this car has the potential to make someone happy for a long time yet.

My car is this exact model and year, and the only problem I'm having out of it now is it randomly doesn't want to start. It will turn over, but i usually have to try it like 2 or 3 times. It also only does it after I've cranked it or drove it. The first time I start it, it starts right up. But if I start it, let it run, cut it off, then try it, it always has trouble. No idea why. Really fun little car though.

yeah. this is just the SE-R. Not the Spec-V. I own one just like this except it's black. I think the Spec-V came with a 6 speed transmission and a different set of wheels.

Nissan *didn't make* the Spec-v with automatic transmission. 6-speed manual only. Also, all Spec-v cars had unique seats with SER stitching and a gauge cluster. It must be a clone. Someone (very badly) slapped on some spec-v badging to a base model Sentra.

@rml695 Yes it usually does, from babies' bottom to so many other applications (naughty or otherwise)...☺ A light touch of Vaseline along the weatherstrips at late autumn for example, (a 5 minutes long easy job, costing only pennies), will guarantee to prevent the door freezing-in during even the harshest winter, regardless if the car parks outside, or not. It also prevent battery terminal corrosion and so on, the examples are nearly endless.

You can make them fit, but it isn't pretty. Personally if you've got to change the tails I'd get ones made specifically for the 03's. You can get LEDs, which in my opinion are nicer than the stock 03's OR 04's
