Just getting back into the hobby & trying to decide between this one, the Toyota LC79, the FMS 1/10 FCX10 (not a fan of a servo to switch from 2WD to 4WD) or the FMS 1/10 Toyota FJ40. I know the price range is pretty big but looking for most bang for buck.

Ever since they came out with the fcx18 Land Cruiser I’ve been messaging them on fb telling them to do the Hilux next “because I have miniature regimes I need to change.”

Hmmm...
Well , when you do bashing or speed runs , you can tell that you're passionate about it. My favorite crawler vid of yours is the samurai (descent setting, total excitement) .
The other guys I watch do unboxings before the release date, comparison vids , upgrades , course crawling, "realistic" trail crawling, and probably my favorite which is crawling with other people ( attempts by multiple trucks and camaraderie)
A lot of it is (like your passion for speed and destruction 🤣 ) their passion and connection with what they're doing (it comes through/across)
I think you'd benefit most with doing upgrades and vids with other people crawling (maybe competition /time trials) I also think this would help you identify better places to shoot the actual wheeling, the more realistic you can make it look the better (low shots and setting) and a little friendly "I can do this better than you" might "CHARGE" you on crawler vids.
Hope this helps , only reason I'm writing this is cause I wanna see you do well 😉

@@GSG-lc5zm Great advice 🙏🙏 Appreciate the feed back. There are some good crawler groups that I should look into trailing with. I think that part of it is the entire 'UA-cam' thing. Obligations of having a video done for someone else's schedule can really detract from the joy of it all every now and again. I'm learning that end of it as I go I spose. But I agree that being out with a few others really makes these vids more fun 👍

Neat little truck although I prefer the 10th scale trucks like the TRX4'S much better for bigger rocks to crawl over. Still an awesome little truck though. 😊😊😊
I agree. 1/24 - 1/18 are good for inside the house action, but you need 1/10 or bigger to handle the outdoor life 👍
You should check out the new fcx 10 then.
They need to do one in metallic brown with gold 2 tone like the fall guy truck was

I got the same "Harley-Davidson" version as you. Had to change tires and wheels tho. Those wheels are comically big.
Yeah they are massive. Some 1.0rims from a 1/24 would probably look pretty good on there 🤔

I haven't really looked into it, but it looks to be a pretty capable truck with the 4 wheel steering. I think it's a good choice 👍
