I was wondering if you knew the specifications of the camera or indeed the model of the camera and lens used to get this footage? I'm working on a project to try and recreate a 1920/30 look so it is particularly interesting to me right now.
Thanks David. Good point. I think for 16mm film I should be using an aspect ration closer to 4:3 but I may have used 16:9. If I get time I'll see if I can correct
Burnt down during the 70’s from memory. I may not be right but I don’t think so. It was called the Palais de Danes & checking it burnt down in 1968. It was next to the Palais theatre , Luna Park was on the other side.

Hi Ross - any suggestions appreciated. I am fairly certain the woman on the left is Ellen Juckert based upon still pictures of her after she married Robert. However, I am less certain about the woman on the right. But, I could be wrong on both.

The woman on the left is Bonnie Robinson, and on the right Nance Wyatt. Both lived in the Elwood area.
These women were cousins.
