Mendok Yaspa (Festival of Flowers) is celebrated in the midst of summer in Kargil district of Ladakh. In Muslim regions, it is not celebrated as a festival, rather the day is celebrated in collecting flowers, visiting graves and offering food to others.
When Bon religion was prevalent in the region. It was called 'Snola'.
