Hearing em all called “pieces” is just mad funny to me. They’re just shirts. Shirts that cost a couple dollars to produce and valued at an insanely inflated cost. Fun stuff
I remember those bootleg shirts from the 90s lol. It's stuff you would find at swapmeets/mall kiosks. Usually like 3 Tshirts for $10 or so. Cool to see them make a comeback.
Bootlegs are sometimes better than official pieces because they have unique designs compared to an official one which might have been mass produced. The issue I'm having is MODERN bootlegs of official pieces from the 90s, that were just made within the last few years. So they were recently made to look like official 90s joints. It's a rather new concept. Because they are faking Giant, Tultex, Delta tags. And replicating a $300‐1000 tee. I just recently got a Nine Inch Nails Downward Spiral.. the one you saw Travis Scott wearing. Worth $500-1000. Upon initial look.. it looks official. Tag was ripped. But it has the single stitch. Correct print and date stamp under the back hit, etc. But if you look closer.. the shirt was faded before it was even sewn. The stitching is brand new, as if you were to find from a brand new tee in a store. But it's artificially faded. Then sewn with fake tag, etc. If you looks quick, can't tell. Or in photos. But if you look closely at the print, it's obviously not a 30 year old print. New stitching. Sloppy stitching. And the guy sold this to me as an official 1994 shirt! This shit was just made recently. 🤦♂️ Now I have to go through Depop and hope to get a refund. eBay it's an easy refund. Depop.. we'll see.
@@13ranzz A lot of people are selling bootleg of vintage bootleg shirts, hate to admin that you'll never know it's a legit vintage if you didn't have that one before or if you don't have a friend who's expert with them vintage stuff - hope you'll get your refund bro
Lol also means that it can easily be replicated. Just printing photos onto Ts and say that they’re actually are “paying homage” is crazy that ppl have inflated the values of these shirts. Ppl can really just google the images and print em on Ts. But dope being able to find a niche market and turn it into a sustainable business
