HAHA okay so I may have gotten overwhelmed with life as per usual and disappeared from the world. Unfortunately, making ASMR videos also stopped :( I really have no excuse other than I felt like I had to prioritize myself and other things in my life. But after 10 months of doing so, I genuinely feel... okay these days. I found a wonderful therapist this year and he's been making a profound impact on my life. Investing in my relationships and lifestyle have also been huge in discovering my happiness and inner peace :') Knock on wood, but I feel ready and happy coming back to weekly uploads ❤
OKAY so some announcements I touched on in this video:
1. WEEKLY UPLOADS RETURN WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Not much to be said here, I'm glad to be back :) I've also been streaming ASMR more on twitch ❤
2. I HAVE RETURNED TO BEING ANGELSKIMI!!!!!!! Long time viewers know - my main handle used to be AngelsKimi. It's where I got Angels ASMR from. I switched it to Plushys, and decided to reverse rebrand the other day back to AngelsKimi ❤ The TL;DR as to why is because I was inspired by a late night conversation with my friend Celine. After months of working out the logistics and asking around for other peoples' opinions, I finally made the change. It's a surreal feeling because the last time I was "AngelsKimi" I was in an incredibly dark place in life. I feel genuinely reborn. Plushys now felt like my healing arc :')

I love how your pets are so relaxed while you're doing ASMR, there is actually nothing more relaxing than seeing them comfortably and peacefully sleeping, it definitely relaxes us even more

It seems so cheesy to go "OMG worth the wait," but really, these ASMR videos are. They're always top tier ASMR with a great blend of gentleness and precision that just melts away stress. i never really kept up with kimi's regular streaming, just mainly, and more recently her asmr after coming across it a few months ago. i just thought she grew out of asmr, which would have been fine, but not the case, either way knowing she's now in a better place in her life is so amazing and her bringing back asmr is just an added bonus :D glad to see you back kimi

Kimi, I can't believe it's been a year already. I am so happy that I found your channel at just the right time. It was sometime in November 2022 that one of your 3dio videos was recommended to me and I decided to give it a watch. At this point, I never watched ASMR videos, I didn't feel the need to. However, I did find your video to be rather refreshing and decided to check out the rest of your channel. At the time the latest upload was about 10 months or so old, but that didn't matter to me since it was my first time watching and I felt there were plenty of videos to watch. So I proceeded to watch various parts of your earlier videos and I found them all very enjoyable. It was a very different experience for me on youtube in a good way so I kept watching. Then of course you uploaded this video, what good timing! However I must say that I was not expecting it to last. Based on previous uploads, it did not seem like it would be consistent. But I decided that I would keep watching these new uploads until you stopped again. Mind you, while I did enjoy the videos, they did not yet feel like an important part of my routine yet. I suspected that It would be a few weeks of uploads then this channel would fade away from me as I discover different videos and the youtube cycle continues. But of course, this time was different. It's been so wonderful to see all of these videos and I am amazed at the positive impact that it has had on me. I never really had trouble falling asleep but I did realize that I would frequently go to sleep very anxious. It's like the time spent before going to sleep was reserved for me to think about what I did wrong that day, what I did not accomplish, and the anxieties of the next day. Obviously some days were worse than others, but I just accepted that that is how I operate. Although in the few videos I did see at that point I noticed how genuinely calm I felt during and after watching them. The videos help me clear my mind of overwhelming thoughts and to take time to unwind and think about things that make me happy. For my entire life I considered myself to be a morning person, but over this past year now I have learned to appreciate night time. No matter how much I may try to think and plan out the day things always play out differently, which is perfectly fine. But that unpredictability can be anxiety inducing at times, especially when life gets busier and busier. The nights, on the other hand, are different. It can be a consistent time for me. I do not need to spend that time worrying about the next day but rather take that time to unwind and relax. As you mentioned in a previous video, there is always something to stress about, and I do a fine job at finding them. Often overthinking things and making them worse than what they actually are, and the negative thoughts are just not worth it. How refreshing it is to go to sleep with a peaceful mind and thoughts. Over the years, I have become accustomed to watching youtube videos at double speed. There are many people that I watch that I have probably never heard their voices at normal speed because for some videos it's just better for me at a faster pace. However, these videos are the exception for me. When possible, I make sure that I have the time to watch your ASMR from start to finish. Doing so really helps me clear my mind of negativity. I love reading your long descriptions and listening to your rambles. It really gives your videos a great atmosphere! I must say though that part of me was rather anxious to revisit this video. The reason being that I am very prone to associating certain events/feelings together in a strongly connected manner if that makes sense, and I look back at this video and remember how I felt this time last year. It wasn't even that long ago, but it already feels so nostalgic for me. At the same time, I was rediscovering previous hobbies and passions that I had stopped but always wanted to get back into, so these videos remind me of that. Plus they also remind me of cozy winter nights. But of course sometimes we can exaggerate the good memories and feelings in our mind and forget the others. Part of me did not want to risk the way I remembered it, but I reasoned: why would I arbitrarily restrict myself from enjoying this again1 full year later. Watching it again now is so satisfying and in a different way from what I remember. At the time, I had no idea how many more videos you would upload, but knowing what I know now and seeing what has played out this past year is really something wonderful. Seeing you working towards and achieving your goals here on youtube and other platforms has been quite encouraging. It makes me want to continue to work to improve certain things in my life. You mentioned that scheduling is not your strong suit, and that makes the continued consistency feel that much better. I am sure that some days and weeks are difficult and it can be hard to follow through with your uploads, but we are all so grateful for each time that you persevere in your ASMR. The videos where you mention your struggles give them an extra sense of comfort. Please know that we appreciate all of your efforts. Thank you Kimi for being an important part of my routine and I hope you continue to find relaxation, satisfaction and comfort from making your videos.
