Another way to tell how deep the ocean is... when ever you see a commercial plane all the way up in the sky. Picture the plane at the "surface" and you on the "ocean floor". Its pretty amazing I got to admit. Imagine whats down there.
Very interesting perspective!!
Thats wild to think about bro
@Dimi , we've discovered, never explored.

Deep in the trenches carved into the floors of the Pacific and the Indian Oceans, there are fish which live & die without ever seeing or sensing the sun. Cruising the depths like ghostly balloons,lit from within by their own radiance, they are marvels of biological design, built to withstand pressures that would squash a man flat as a pancake in the blink of an eye.

Found the real comment.
This a big misconception, the ocean is 95% undiscovered but that’s saying a HUMAN OR ROBOT hasn’t physically seen it, sonar and radar has scanned nearly all the ocean that’s why we have depth charts and as the marine life goes, the “undiscovered ocean” is desolate with barely any sea life and is basically a rock bottom with no plants or animals. It would be a waste of time and recourses to explore. There might be minor undiscovered species but they are not important enough to spend large amounts of money and time to look for, as well as if it’s a human a risk of death at depths looking for these fish.

To be frank, despite how deep the ocean is, the deeper it gets, the size of creatures gets more limited with the enormous oceanic pressure and the scarcity of prey or food, with the Mariana Trench being the best example
Imagine living in a desert with so little food, and the gravity there literally crushes you constantly, and that, would be the Mariana Trench
so relax, there's no giant creatures or anything waiting for us in that crushing depth, just some weird deep sea fish
ps: it would be impossible to explore all of the ocean, as explore means human or drone exploration, and we often use satellite instead, which doesn't count as explored
leave my lineage alone, brando
Exactly, some people think the megalodon still exists because "only 15% of the ocean was explored" when it would be litterally impossible for any giant predator to live in the deep ocean
@@Delt4Ech0 Many huge deep sea predators went undetected for years. The Colossal Squid being the biggest example.
That being said, even the most elusive animals leave traces. The Colossal squid wasn't found alive until 1986 but people found traces of dead squids on beaches since 1925, despite it living exclusively in the southern arctic.
If the Megalodon exists, we would have found evidence by now.
I feel disappointed rather than relaxed I wish there were giant creatures in there
i dont think this is as accurate as you state. there are plenty of living beings/animals that adapt to their environments. so isnt entirely plausible that a massive creature that is able to withstand the thousands and thousands of pounds of pressure and live comfortably at the bottom of the ocean ?
