Have a late 60's model vanguard in 7mm rem mag via my father in law. Monte Carlo wood stick. Still cycles like butter. Love weatherby and all the American family owned firearms and ammo companies. I feel the need, the need for speed!

Switching from bonded to mono bullets will cause inaccuracies if you don’t do a good cleaning. Ron Spoomer mentioned this in a video.

If your not wildcatting or experimenting at a gun company, then what the heck are you doing in the gun business...lol. 7-378 must be a monster. Great podcast Weatherby!

So is the obsidian worth it, it’s cheaper than the synthetic. I looking at getting a 300 wby.

Yes it is. I recently picked up one and the quality is the same as a synthetic. However you also get a threaded barrel with the obsidian

Would really like for you guys to sell a sample/site in package for your Weatherby loaded ammo. Specifically Weatherby cartridges. 1 box of 20 with 4 different bullet offerings 5 rounds a piece. Then a guy can shoot groups with 4 different bullet types and see what it likes and order that. It’s frustrating to spend $100-$200 on a box to find out the gun hates them. I think the customer would end up with a better end result and a more accurate rifle.
