This video contains a modified Yamaha Alfa II R using front disc brakes, racing cross rims and also a manual clutch
The Yamaha Force 1 is the successor to the Yamaha Alfa with a 105cc engine which was introduced at the end of the 1980s. The first Force 1 model, which was launched in 1992, still uses drum brakes at the front and rear. This motorbike is the first Yamaha motorbike in Indonesia to adopt the YPCS (Yamaha Performance Cooling System) cooling system. The YPCS system itself is an engine cooling system that relies on a fan. This fan functions to suck in air from outside to cool the engine. So because the temperature is maintained, engine performance can continue to be optimal. At that time, Suzuki had actually already used similar technology in the Suzuki RC series, which was known as Suzuki Jet Cooled, but the difference was that Jet Cooled was equipped with an additional nozzle that sprayed oil into the engine block.
In 1994, a facelift was introduced which was named Force 1 Z. In terms of form, there were not too many changes, what is striking is that this model uses a disc brake braking system at the front. Until 1996, the F1Z still persisted with the model it offered. However, there are several special models launched. The only difference is that the braces are equipped with lights and the addition of chrome to some of the components. The last generation has adopted a full clutch. In 1997 the Yamaha F1ZR was launched which was equipped with a manual clutch, but the clutch was still semi-automatic; where many people call it the nickname "sissy clutch".
In 2000, PT. Yamaha Indonesia Motor Manufacturing (YIMM) as a manufacturer, carried out a major overhaul of the F1ZR. The design looks more modern which is supported by the use of racing style rims. Apart from that, this model has a full clutch or conventional manual clutch.
The Yamaha F1ZR was discontinued in 2004, and was replaced by the Yamaha Vega R, which already uses a 4-stroke engine.
