Alternate history of Napoleon Bonaparte! I'd be especially interested if there are any alternate timelines where Napoleon simply isn't overthrown- not one of those dime-a-dozen 'What If Napoleon Conquered Europe' storylines, but rather a scenario where Napoleon manages to retain his control of France and perhaps even a French sphere of influence in Central Europe. Is the international political situation able to re-stabilize in some way, or is coexistence between revolutionary France and the traditional European monarchies simply impossible? Does his dynasty have long-term viability, or is it doomed the moment he dies? And how would Germany and Italy be changed in a timeline where there is a much more powerful France determined to prevent unification?
Look, what most people DON'T realize is that Teddy Roosevelt has done all these things. Including narrating his own life while riding a human built mecha and dual wielding eagle shaped theme weapons. He's so badass he exists in all realities at all times and can do anything. All those Chuck Norris facts are in fact, about Teddy Roosevelt. Except the beard hiding a third fist. His mustache has two whole arms with swords.
It may be stretching the definition of alternate history, but there's an SCP Tale about Roosevelt and british explorer Lord Blackwood hunting the indestructible Reptile. Roosevelt faces Able in meele combat in the same tale and lives.
Hello Could you talk about the novel "The Guns of the south" ? I'm still interesed in the world that was left behing by the Rivington Men in 2014 (as i understood it is a very different universe from Real life at least until 1994) and the world created in 1864
Slave-mongering? Only the aristocracy owned slaves. The rest of the impoverished south fought because their states were being laid under siege and had little other choice.
My favorite alternate history Teddy Roosevelt s the one in Malê Rising: not super active in politics, though still very vocal on political matters, and very cosmopolitan. And he's gay.
Abraham Lincoln or JFK next please!
I'm shocked that there was even a short story of Teddy Roosevelt being a vampire hunter. Thanks for reminding me to get the book.

4:24 I’m laughing to death when I go talk about Theodore Roosevelt if I see it
Teddy Roosevelt fighting aliens is just too good to not have more storys
Ahhh...... Teddy roosvelt, the multiversal constant. Try to omit him from your TL and steampunk teddy will kill ya!
What if the US in our time line joined the central powers just to take canada
We'd have better whiskey, maple syrup and tons more oil
That means a German victory unless the USA betrays the central powers
What a badass
Stonersloth Hughes ii
My favorite is the assassin Theodore Roosevelt who relative FDR is a Templar pawn
Battle of Hastings or Stamford Bridge?

His mustache has two whole arms with swords.
Ron Swanson is just his reincarnation.
Theodore Roosevelt independent Dakota
Looks more like Dagon than Cthulhu to me.

4:18 so teddy leads xcom then?
Badass Roosevelt
why do you say "so-called confederacy"? It is the confederacy isn't it?
Alt-Centrist NeoBuddhist-AnarchoBonapartist
It was technically not a recognized state.
Slave-mongering?
Only the aristocracy owned slaves. The rest of the impoverished south fought because their states were being laid under siege and had little other choice.
Most badass leader ever
what if Winston Churchill instead of being PM would be President of the USA
GOD BLESS.
Aaron Burr!
What about Napoleon?
He's definitely on my list.
Of course, as with the "Stalin" of Turtledove's "Joe Steel," his parents would have to immigrate to the Americas prior to his birth.
If Napoleon was not French he probably would have created a American empire since he was a great general and leader
Disuse the book The Guns of the South.
