    In the central texas area and do slab leaks all the time. Tunneling is probably the cheapest for the customer, and most profitable for the business.
    If possible a cheaper alternative is always given. 3/8 pex through 1/2 copper, 1/2 through 3/4. If its not the feed obviously.
    Just finished a repipe another plumbing company had dug, did 90% of the job, but then it rained, filled the tunnel with water, and they never went back. Pump the water put, get it done.

    God I would feel horrible having to have a dig crew trying to tunnel underneath my house. Yay for the greater San Antonio area and all of our limestone lol.
