Chuay Ghan clearly won this auction. They bought the right foods that could easily be shared
They also have less people, so more servings for them
an auction is supposed to be individual not as a tribe i wasnt a fan of this season either

Yeah I was thinking Thailand managed to ruin a lot and tribe bidding ruins the auction.
I like when they combine their money and they both get the prize and both still have money
I don’t like the “bidding as a tribe and sharing everything with them” part. I want them to bring the auction back, but only if it is post-merge.
I preferred a tribe auction format I saw on the Aussie version: each tribe had $2500, but they bid as individuals so whatever you spent came out of the whole tribe's kitty, but the food was yours and yours alone (no sharing). So it's a little twist: Be selfish and spend a bundle on food knowing it could piss off your tribe or lay out and try to generate some good will with your tribe. 🤔

Wow, a NEW Survivor channel. Gonna have to save some of these videos while they're here (until I get a job and buy a whole lot more seasons of this show on DVD {I currently own Australian Outback and Micronesia})
They definitely need to bring back the auction on survivors!!
They stopped because not enough people were trying for the food and just waiting for the advantage.

I always wondered, in some alternative timeline, if Shii Ann switched tribes, would she have made it farther in Thailand? Or would she have been votes out earlier than she was?
If she swapped tribes she probably would still place 10th/9th, if they merged however, she would place 6th or higher i think
As I'm binging these I'm realizing that I missed a LOT of seasons of this show. Like there must be like 5 or 6 seasons I missed.

Stephanie should have mutined. She jumps up to 6th place probably, and could go higher if she won an immunity. She had a good a chance as any to win one at f6 maybe better than most. She probably also has a chance at All Stars for her big move.
