Mayra is an 8-year-old girl that was born prematurely with a brain bleed and cerebral palsy. Watching Dolphin Tale helped spark Mayra's motivation and inspired her to work harder on her mobility and cooperate with her doctors and family to wear her daytime leg braces and night time casts. Mayra is a huge animal lover and when she saw there was an animal that uses a prosthetic tail for physical therapy it made her realize she isn't alone and wearing her braces would help.

My heart goes out to that little girl and all the rest of the little girls and boys. Winter inspired me so much when I first got my eye on her and I can't believe what she is feeling. She must be so so happy.

We see so many horror stories these days from marine parks, zoos, etc. It really warms my heart to see stories from Clearwater Aquarium, and all the good work they do with rehabilitation, education, etc.

Hi, my name is Sarah and I just watched this video. When I first saw her. I didn't she was born with cerebral palsy. I think that is so cool that she got to meet Winter and Hope. It is like a dream come true. I am born with Down syndrome and my dream is exactly the same. I really wanted to meet Winter and Hope because they inspire me. Winter especially because she lost her tail sometime in December. She has a disability just like me. My wish would be going to Florida meeting Winter and Hope because they inspire me so much. It is so nice to meet and greet! I just feel like it. All of my friends have disabilities too. All of my friends inspire me to try my best! I am trying my very best to meet Winter and Hope!

This is four years old and it still amazes me of how she is able to live we now in November of 2021 and Winter passed away 4 days ago and I every one is going to be sad because she have hope for all 😢🌈♥️♥️🐬🐬🐬

Hope I get enough money next year saved to go see Winter and Hope next year in May ,2020. I been trying to save enough money for years and things keep happening where the money ends up going to other things needed. Anyway I have confidence that I'll be able to go to that marine park someday, and of course I always wanted to go to Sea World and Disney world too . I Pray my Sister, I, and my Service Dog Daisy will be able to go to Florida next year. Pray they still alive and happy then too. Well actually I always Pray every night that they are as Happy as they can be and live long lives. As well as all animals who have to rely on humans to help them live. I first learned about Winter and Hope, and eventually Nicholas, through the Dolphin Tale movies. I bought the movies as soon as I could and watch them often. When my Medical and Mental disability acts up, I watch the movies and some times go on net and watch videos like this. They inspired me to keep going and try to fulfill my dream to become a Teacher. It's taking many years to get through college because of my disability, but now my Service Dog Daisy helps me and like I said before Winter and Hope they all give me Hope that some day I can fulfill my dream. God Bless Them All.

Like to know what's going on with Winter. I thougt to see on the live camera (direct on the site-not here on You Tube) that she didn't had a Prothese Tale? Was this just for the film or maybe she needs always to change it, or maybe sometimes be without. I am really interesting because I looked together with my grandson and he asked me questions I could not answer. Thanks!
