    Just wanted to clarify on some things that people are taking the wrong way as I was kinda all over the place in that video. Anyway, I'm not going to be making any more videos about this whole "Xenobladesaga" thing until we get more information for the series

      I have not watch the video man but it all depends on NAMCO they still see a remaster or a remake a market failure they dont care about the fans.

      @lordmetallium9678 are you saying that they still see it as a market failure or that Saga depends on if they do?

      @@paragonoftorna2548 market failure aka if the game dose not sell is not worth a damn, if people don't buy they see it as worthless to create a remake or a remastering but on us the fans they don't care if there is no money

    Xeno series is a great source of inspiration for creating sci-fi like technology! This is partly why I love, cherish, adore and remain [safely] addicted to the series.

    While I generally agree with your points, for me it’s really more probable that the future of Xenoblade lies in XCX lore above Square-Namco proprieties if only because legalities/copyright-hell.
    And also the fact that the basic structure of the Klaus Trilogy plot was written or at least planned between XC1 and XC2 (when the main theme of Mechonis Sword and Uraya Titan concept art was created), also known as XCX development time.
    I always remember that quote from Iwata Asks for XCX stating that Takahashi wrote the biggest amount of lore ever with this game (to the point that could be published as a novel) and that they only used a small fraction for the game.
    One could argue that this bit of info, the XC3 concept art developed at the same time and the fact that Takahashi explicitly said that all Xenoblade games have connections even if he doesn’t want to explain them in that interview, makes a strong case that at some point, a Xenoblade game will connect the dots between the trilogy and X.
    If he somehow also achieves (legally) bringing Perfect Works/Gears and Saga to the equation, the better and we will be all ecstatic with it (for me, it already happened in the multiverse inside Takahashi’s mind but can’t say it out loud).
    In any case thanks for your content, amazing times ahead for all Xeno fans regardless of what will happen in the end.

    Multiple gatcha games have been having xenosaga cross-overs. Feels like building hype. Just saying.

    To be fair for X, the ending Lin says that Earth may still exist, which contradicts the idea that Earth got destroyed.
    What probably happened to the earth in X, it got teleported somewhere.

    I totally agree with you on your opinion on where the series will go next, except I'm not even sure it will still be called Xenoblade. It would make sense in order to capitalize on the Xenoblade trilogy for sales but what if Takahashi just wants to make a new chapter of the Xeno series that would be a continuation of Xenoblade + Xenosaga instead? Who knows.
    I think you should definitely watch JBspherefreak video on the other side of the argument for Xenoblade X called: *"Exploring the Future of Xenoblade Chronicles Xenosaga Vs Xenoblade X"* because he proposes a farefetch'd theory but an interesting theory that could make Xenoblade X canon and I really think it's worth watching to have the other side of the argument.

      There would be no reason to change the name of Xenoblade. Even if Takahashi wanted to, Nintendo would mandate it stays the same because of brand recognition. Xenoblade is so popular it would be dumb to to change the name. They could keep it Xenoblade but just add a subtitle
      As for JB's video, I'll definitely go check it out

    • @kyurei4478

      I agree, that would be a poor decision marketing wise and maybe Nintendo wouldn't even allow this. But at the same time, wouldn't it be weird if the next game is drastically different from Xenoblade, even gameplay wise but is still called Xenoblade? Maybe Xenoblade Saga lol.
      I think it could be interesting.

      Xenoblade X is already an example. Other than having virtually the same combat system as 1, everything else is completely different

    • @kyurei4478
      @kyurei4478 7 місяців тому +1

      @paragonoftorna2548 Yes, such thing already exists. But precisely, that doesn't prevent people from approaching X differently from how they approach the classic Xenoblade Chronicles games. It's way less popular despite the fact it keeps the same name and it was even misleading for many who where looking for the classic formula. So that brings the following question. Is keeping the same name really that justified in the end? Even the combat system could drastically change.
      I think people would still be able to get interested in the series if it still contains the "Xeno" in it now that they know about Xenoblade. And now they even start to get interested in the older parts of the Xeno-series.

    Either way, I hope I've gotten life sorted out, e.g. to my TV and other gaming electronics in place, before the next release of the xenoblade series (be it the much preferred 'X', or xenosaga).

    I'm actually going to be really disappointed if we never get Saga rerelease. It would actually kinda suck to emulate it because I'm probably not going to buy and set up a PS2 any time soon, even if I have to buy Saga 2 for unrelated reasons. And really, even if we do get a reimagining in a diffrent style, it would still be neat for the originals to be available(In a collection, we all know what would happen if they get released seperately again). Like, many people have drawn the conceptual parallel to Square's FF7(Which, ironic that it's them somehow being involved in discussions, considering...ya know.) and I am fairly sure a part of that was that they actually rereleased the original again at some point so people can compare what happens in each.
    Also, just to give a short drop to the actual discussion again: I don't really have a preference either way because I played neither X nor Saga and would ideally want both to come home on Switch 2(Same with Xenogears, Square.). However, I gotta say that if they would have to reimagine Saga anyhow to retcon in the lore and fix some friction in the connections, I don't see why a date that is arbitrarily chosen and shouldn't be storyvital not lining up is a big deal. I can see the other arguments like how even if we claim that Earth's explosion was actually the split and was misinterpreted, it is supremely hard to justify from a writing perspective that aliens were coincidentially fighting in space at the same time dropping antimatter on the surface, while some unrelated human dudes wanted to yoink the conduit and Klaus pressed a funny button. Just wanted to say that putting the date specifically into the spotlight is odd to me personally.
    11:05 Technically unrelated but it came to mind due to the whole "the visuals clearly showed us", something very odd that we don't have answered is what happened to everything else in the new world created at the end of Xenoblade 1. Yeah, the new world was not just the planet, they directly show us in the cutscene that an entire universe was created. What happened to all of those outside-galaxies when the planet merged with Morytha/New Alrest back into the original Earth? Did they just get wiped from existance? Did they get to stay in the pocket space? Are they just written out? We aren't given any indication that they also got sent back to the original universe, so I'm curious.

    • @paragonoftorna2548
      @paragonoftorna2548  7 місяців тому +1

      For those other galaxies, I assume they also just rejoined with their counterpart selves. The Earth was split into 2 part then rejoined back to where it was before the split so I assume the same is true for everything else

    In order to fit X in at all, it would need literally every single bit of worldbuilding (the biggest strong point of X) in X retconned to such an extent they would have to scrap X entirely and completely make a whole new game and call that X.

    • @paragonoftorna2548
      @paragonoftorna2548  7 місяців тому

      Yeah I don't think people realize just how incompatible X is with the Trilogy compared to Saga

    Lets be honest regarding the Xenosaga references in the Xenoblade games. Its related to a Xenosaga related mobile game titled Tales of the rays!. That has the returning characters Chaos, T-elos, Kos-mos and Momo!. But its only available in Japan at the moment and we dont know the release date yet either for it!. The Trailer is here if you want to see it!: ua-cam.com/video/FoKAlkpg2Uo/v-deo.html . I know there are some who know this is happening but lot of fans dont know of this!.

    I don't think you had to make this video. I find it ludicrous that you actually have to tell people that what you are talking about is just a theory or your own thoughts. It should always be clear from the start unless you give sources, like screenshots or quotes. Which you already do by the way. So thumbs up for going out of your way and making this video to clear it up, but in my opinion there was no need to and people who got angry or mad about your last video are just dumb.
    In my own headcanon, Xenoblade has already been "Xenosaga 4" the whole time. While Xenosaga was at some point meant to have three big arcs, similar to Xenogears' Perfect Works, that plan changed when production actually began. So even before the release of Xenosaga ep. 1, it was always meant to be a story around mankind in space, disguised as the "mankind in space arc" of Xenogears (confusingly also called "episode I" in Perfect Works, which is unfortunate now), but ultimately revealing itself to be a continuation and a possible solution to Xenogears's episode VI problem (So Xenosaga is also "Xenogears 2" through that lense). Contrary to what some people think or write online, the story of Xenosaga is completed. Of course a continuation of the story on what happened on Earth was always possible, but would be a whole different story.
    Instead we got Xenoblade. And again it was a disguised story, - as a fantasy game - which actually turned out to be a story taking place on the Lost Earth, thus directly continuing the story of Xenosaga. Xenoblade 2 revealed more elements from Saga like the Zohar, a blade form of KOS-MOS, the Salvator faction, the space elevator and more and Xenoblade 3 revealed even more lore implications how Earth might appear again finally and opened up and expanded the whole Xenoblade trilogy universe to space exploration, Saga-connections and that all.
    So in my own headcanon it's all just connected.

      @paragonoftorna2548  7 місяців тому +2

      I agree that I probably didn't need to make this video, I felt it was necessary to some degree since there are some things I genuinely wanted to clear up
      Also, I like you're headcannon a bit. There's been a lot of talk about Takahashi finally dropping Perfect Works after Xenoblade 3 and it's would support that if true now that PW is "complete"
