This is just incredible. I make DM covers too, but yours man it's outstanding. It's hard to make those even with the original samples, so I really appreciate the effort you put on these and that you share your work with us. Keep up the good work man!
OMG, tks a lot for your support and time watching my work. You can't imagine how blessed I get when somebody gets touched by what I do. As I am a big DM fan, you've just got a new subscriber. Hugs, bro!
DM is my inspiration for 30 years. Used to learn organ/keyboard because of them as a youngster and just couple weeks ago bought a cheap Yamaha keyboard after 25years of absence. Basically all because of them. Seeing this video I have an inspiration now, where I may want to go and practice the next years. GREAT WORK! Thanks a lot.
It's so good to know that some people get inspired by my work, OMG, what a honor! My friend, it's never too late to start (or resume) what you love to do. I remember when I borrowed a Yamaha PSR model from a friend, 30 years ago, and started playing along with some DM, A-ha, Duran Duran, among others who became my lifetime inspiration. Thank you so much for your words. Hugs.
One of my very favourite DM songs . Full of atmosphere, unlike most of the last few albums They stopped making great music after Ultra Like most I go their shows for nostalgia now ..
Lyrics: Come with me into the trees We'll lay on the grass and let the hours pass Take my hand, come back to the land Let's get away, just for one day Let me see you stripped Down to the bone Let me see you stripped Down to the bone Metropolis has nothing on this You're breathing in fumes, I taste when we kiss Take my hand, come back to the land Where everything's ours for a few hours Let me see you stripped Down to the bone Let me see you stripped Down to the bone Let me hear you make decisions Without your television Let me hear you speaking just for me Let me see you stripped Down to the bone (let me hear you speaking just for me) Let me see you stripped Down to the bone (let me hear you crying just for me) Let me see you stripped Down to the bone (let me hear you speaking just for me)
Well, Karl... we never know what people wanna see. My videos are very poor regarding video editing and I always make some mistakes when playing live. I try my best and my intention is showing what my keyboards are able to do, because they definitely more talented than me. Hehe. Tks for your words, bro. 🤜🤛
@@NostalKeys I have the VR-09 which is very organ-centric. When i was shopping around it was a choice between the VR and FA, I think I made the wrong choice!
I surely could. FA-06 is really impressive and has hundreds amazing sounds. Its sequencer is extremely easy to use. I strongly recommend it. Tks for your comments, buddy!
Tks! No. Triton is running the sequencer, and some of the parts I play live. I connect them via MIDI only when I have both sequencers to play tracks simultaneously (Midi Sync Clock).
I never use samples for instruments, neither VSTs. All sounds come from both keyboards. I used samples twice for voice only, in Enjoy the Silence and The Living a Boy's Adventure Tale
Haha! Thanks a lot, my friend. Choosing the sounds is the hardest part of what I do. Both keyboards offer me a huge variety of sounds, and, if they don't have the sound I need, I have to work on editing a certain sound to try to get as close as the original one. But there are some channels where guys record songs like pros. I do my best and your words are very appreciated.
Always amazed me how DM could overlap simple samples to create some incredible sounds.
They would make keyboardists' life much easier too.

One of the best songs ever
I totally agree! Tks for watching!
You've done justice to my all time favorite Depeche Mode song - awesome 😌

I'm glad you liked it.

And Stripped is on my top 5 list.

They stopped making great music after Ultra
Like most I go their shows for nostalgia now ..
I totally agree with you. Ultra was the last good one. But this is something that happens to 99% of the great bands.
Lyrics:
Come with me into the trees
We'll lay on the grass and let the hours pass
Take my hand, come back to the land
Let's get away, just for one day
Let me see you stripped
Down to the bone
Let me see you stripped

Take my hand, come back to the land

Let me see you stripped

Me again! What sound did you use for the idling motorbike at the start, is it just drum sounds? Thanks.
I used GM 126 on Triton Extreme. It's called Car Engine. Soon, I'll make a video on how I selected the sounds for this song.
And I think that's the sound on any keyboard loaded with GM (General Midi) bank. Voice number 126.
@@NostalKeys Thanks, unfortunately my Roland VR doesn't have anything even close to this, I may have to omit this sound :(
