No worries! I’m glad it was helpful as I had to search around for it so thought I’d try and include it for anyone wanting to do the same. If you need the spacer it’s off the K model bikes, the part number is easy to find with a quick google
The offset on the front wheel could be down to the fork legs either being swapped from side to side. The calipers are on the front of the legs on the monolever version of the R80
I think you're right there, the PO had swapped them and i didn't see anything wrong with them being that way around but that's a good point, i can offset the rear wheel with the swingarm bolts but it might be worth swapping them back round, but wont it just offset them the other way?
Yeah thats a good point, I suppose it would haha. The handling should improve as the axel isn't in the centre of the fork tube. Have you got the 2 spacers the right way around then? By the way your tyres fit better than mine and mine only show one direction of rotation.
Yeah I’m pretty sure the spacers are the correct way round, I think I might double check that though and let you know haha. How do the tyres fit differently? They might be slightly different as I’ve seen different versions of the scout tyres,
I fitted 120/ 90 on the front. It catches the fork brace mounts. Grinder fixed it. Just checked the manual the shorter spacer goes to the thicker side of the spindle.
@@ianjefferson6687 surprising how many clearance issues can be fixed with a grinder! I'm definitely going to check that later then as I looked at it yesterday and im sure the longer spacer was on the thicker spindle side, which makes a lot of sense as to why its offset how it is. thanks for the info mate
If mr beast worked on motrcycles haha i love everyones bike content im building a bmw funduro scrambler myself didffernt bike similar sam sam but different 😂🤟
Sheer groundbreaking information being provided here. I am at the edge of my seat waiting for your next video.
Thanks for sharing all that tyre info. Really helpful as I’m planning something similar 👍

I was waiting for that comment hahah. What BMW are you building?
Real facepalm move with the socket extension. oy vey!
Yeah that was a really stupid move, won’t be doing that again!
