What’s toxic is going to a legendary DIY SKATEpark that has “NO SCOOTERS” clearly posted and expecting a different outcome. They got less than they asked for.
Yeah you aren't skaters, because you don't skate. You ride a little kids ride. It's like showing up to the race track in a mini van. Burnside was built by locals who still frequent it, its one of a kind because DIYs in Seattle area that are similar aren't as protected. The local skate scene donates money to have things built like the wood forms you cowardly threw your scooters on etc. They actually reuse those forms as they are probably property of Dreamland skateparks who are the guys who originally built burnside who now own huge skatepark building companies. That was disrespectful as if you are just going to go to the DIY and throw your scooters around and get in others way. There's guys who hangout there 24/7 who do donate money and help maintain the park. In the 90s you guys would have been jumped. Because people would even jump other skaters for acting like a fool there. If you all want to build your own parks then have at it. But the way you land the plank of your scooters on the transition is actually hell for the concrete as you are chipping away at it. A wood skateboard landing on the concrete doesn't do that. Another thing is when your boardslide your scooter because it's metal it fucks up the coping. So these guys don't want you there because its not meant for metal scooters. Skaters went through hell and will go through hell to keep that park, so it's not cool that you go there. Maybe you should just take up skating instead of riding a little kids toy? Do you show up to the tennis courts with your bike too? Thats what thats like. Skating is illegal in the streets in Portland that's why they don't want to watch you on a set of handlebars acting like you own the place....
Please, go do that. Run your mouth like you are here, only make sure to get it all on video and come back here to post it. You aren’t going to do anything of the sort.
It's pretty disrespectful to just do what you want for content, when the rules are the rules and there is skateparks in almost every city in Oregon where you could go, but you ignore the rules, you don't respect the rules, you are visiting and you don't respect the locals, you come cause a problem then whine when the skater elbowed you... You are honestly lucky, because if you happened to have just a couple more locals or the RIGHT ONES, and it could have been bad for you! Especially talking tough to the skater that elbowed you when YOU were the one disrespecting the park, the rules, the locals, and basically out there looking for trouble/content. We get it you don't care because your generation grew up disrespectful and not wanting to listen or follow rules, and you feel left out and your feelings are hurt that scooters are not liked at "SKATE-PARKS" But this is why..... Bikes and scooters slam harder on the pavement and can cause more damage than a skateboard, which makes the stuff dangerous to skate! But you don't care because instead of listening to logical common sense and showing respect by following the rules, you would rather be rude, stir up problems, ignore the rules and people that are calling you out on the rules and you just push boundaries to make more people NOT want to accept you and other scooters... Also the locals asked you "did you donate or help build the park?" You should have said "no but here is $10-20, is it cool if me and my buddies cruise around for a while?" Instead you ignore them and antagonize them for content and then you wonder why they can't stand you or people like you... Maybe you would set a better example and people would be more open and accepting of you if you showed a little respect and followed the rules! Even when she let you stay longer you took advantage and talked bad about her when she didn't even have to let you ride there at all... To top it off you were the "TOXIC" ones disrespecting the park, the locals, the city, and everything else then you put it on Burnside and the locals when it was YOU!😂😂😂
this aint what skating is about, if you are in your own space, arnt in the way, and taking turns and being respectful then you have a place in the park, cool tricks btw
How about you build your own park when everyone else kicks you out of everywhere else and there’s no public support for skateboarding and protect it from multiple threats to tear it down for 25 years, then come back and tell us all about it. Or… You could just go to one of the dozen other publicly funded parks all around Portland instead.
you better stay aways form that this are thrones build from skater to do the rituals. Insated of doing youtube videos and eating brownies or what ever sitting in gallereys you should start to get a community do music, be creative, build your own diys. you have nothing to show than to do this video you people should grow. gather together get 1-6 friends buy concrete, get sand some water, build a small quater, ride it, build a bigger one wich will take you days with bleeding hands and you will ask more people to give you money to buy concrete. than you undertand how hard it is to build a quaterpipe 5ft. long 3ft high. when you did that build a bigger one grow your community if skater come to skate your scooter spot or someone else say you are welcome. than build a bigger one build a miniramp do things you never done and than in a couple of years come back to burnside and you are welcome

To top it off you were the "TOXIC" ones disrespecting the park, the locals, the city, and everything else then you put it on Burnside and the locals when it was YOU!😂😂😂
Kinda crazy how y’all were like the first ones there and they just kick y’all out as a scooter I don’t approve
this aint what skating is about, if you are in your own space, arnt in the way, and taking turns and being respectful then you have a place in the park, cool tricks btw
Insated of doing youtube videos and eating brownies or what ever sitting in gallereys you should start to get a community do music, be creative, build your own diys. you have nothing to show than to do this video you people should grow. gather together get 1-6 friends buy concrete, get sand some water, build a small quater, ride it, build a bigger one wich will take you days with bleeding hands and you will ask more people to give you money to buy concrete. than you undertand how hard it is to build a quaterpipe 5ft. long 3ft high. when you did that build a bigger one grow your community if skater come to skate your scooter spot or someone else say you are welcome. than build a bigger one build a miniramp do things you never done and than in a couple of years come back to burnside and you are welcome
scooters .... It's cancer... I'm glad that doesn't exist in Brazil!
I hate this stuff, I like the words... All wheels matter. It's like racism but with sports, imagine going to the strict skateparks and protesting💀
😭😂
And the award for most ignorant comment of the year goes to
@@Tomdelongpenis I never said anything is better, I’m just saying all wheels, which means skateboards, bikes, skates, and scooters matter
@@IsaacMartinezOfficial one is better tho and comparing this to racism in any way shape or form is so beyond ignorant its truly unfathomable
@@Tomdelongpenis oh and acting like one is better then the other isn’t similar? Y’all act perfect while everyone else is the underdogs… have you ever heard of equality? That’s why it’s similar, you don’t gotta be so selfish
very weird you'd think skaters would understand since they are constantly told to fuck off from places
Do yourself a favor and read up on the history of Burnside, and then maybe you’ll understand why they’re territorial. It’s not a publicly funded park, and the locals fought tooth and nail for every square inch of it.
Not your nephew’s skate park.
i really like your vids i made this acc to sub to you
Huge dub! You’re a legend
