    Ah man I was hoping you’d go into detail on the manual curve settings. That’s where I’m really struggling right now. I spent hours at work trying to figure it out and all other tutorials I’ve seen haven’t been very helpful. Been spending a lot of time in Fusion trying to get more efficient with text (I’m coming from After Effects) and it’s been a really tough learning curve. I personally think they need to consolidate a lot of things in text animation because it’s very easy to get lost in the inspector tab with so much going on. And I really hate having to select per character animation just to resize a single word, which even is a bit clunky selecting individual letters in the canvas.

      It's just a different kind of workflow, for example very often I don't animate the size directly on the size slidder. I'll do it on a extra "Transform" node so I can easily re-adjust the size if needed and retain my original animation. It might take you a while at the beginning to get adjusted, and there's of course a lot of thing that need improvement in resolve. But I feel like it's becoming much more performant and flexible than After Effect!

    In the Edit page, if I edit the volume on the audio track by adding some points, I can see those points and see the wave form changing up and down. In the Fairlight page, if I put on a Compressor (or anything similar), the waveform showing is still the original waveform, regardless how I adjust in the compressor. Is there a way to see the results of the compressor adjustments, showing in the waveform?

    • @VideoEditorStudio
      @VideoEditorStudio  2 роки тому

      I'll suggest to not do any mixing in the edit page, do all your mixing in Fairlight and once you done you can go add keyframe on the waveform on the Edit Page if you need to

    how do you change the anchor point from where the follower transform is going, example when the words size up not having them scale up from the center but from the left?

    • @tapabrataghatak7963

      Adding Transformation node might help? Or I think best would be Using edit tab to change the Anchor point. I have never tried You could try

    My question is 1. Can you animate words instead of characters and 2. If you have different shading elements (for example a fill, stroke and a shadow) do you have to animate each of them separately?

    • @VideoEditorStudio
      @VideoEditorStudio  Рік тому

      I though that there's an option to switch from characters to word, but I just check and apparently it's not possible.
      But regarding your second question you can animate multiple shading elements in one modifier, you just need to keyframe the specific shading element individually

    Awesome , how do I animate like per word or per line as opposed to per character?

    • @VideoEditorStudio
      @VideoEditorStudio  Рік тому

      In the timing tab you have a dropdown that allow you to choose between those options

      @bsv_za Рік тому

      @@VideoEditorStudio I don't see an option to animate per word. It only has different options to animate per character.

    Hi Jeremy, a simple Problem, i want to add a red outline on the text, but the red outline is from the beginning still visible and not flying from the z axis into the frame, do you know how to fix this ?

    • @dortamur2634
      @dortamur2634 11 місяців тому

      I had a similar problem and figured it out. The animation is on the Shading, so you need to add the same keyframes to each shader element. So if your red outline is the 5th element, select "5", and add the same keyframes as the default (1?) element.

    My modifier tab is not allowed to open its greyed out... Is it not available in free version?

    • @VideoEditorStudio
      @VideoEditorStudio  2 роки тому +1

      No it's available for the free version. Please make sure to follow each steps. As the Tab is deactivated by default as there's multiple modifier. So you need to right click on the text box and click "modify with follower" and then it will enable the tab

    so i did this but for some reason my text doesnt seem to be changing ??

    • @VideoEditorStudio
      @VideoEditorStudio  Рік тому

      I would need more detail to attempt to give you an answer. On things that might be worse mentioning is that you will not be able to see change happen by moving the slidder. You need to put your keyframe first.
