Serge is an amazing songwriter. He is a fantastic guitarist. He is the spirit of Kasabian.
But there's a reason Keith Richards doesn't sing lead for the Stones.
Followed Kasabian right from the start, was gutted to hear what tom had done and the group made the decision Tom had to leave.
But time has moved on, and so should alot of people, it was wrong what tom did but i think hes paid the price now, kasabian will never be the same without tom. Serge great effort but his voice isnt as strong as toms to pull off some off the songs.
Its such a shame they were a great band, hopefully one day they will forgive n forget .

I couldn't disagree more. Tom left and that was because of his actions. They had to make a decision after what happened and the best was for Tom to leave after what he did and because Serge has a nice voice too, it was a nice idea to be the lead singer. Would you prefer to have another singer replacing Tom? I don't think so. To be honest I'm not that much of a fan now, but that is because of the change of their genre. It's not about Tom leaving, it's about the music of Kasabian changing

@@gwendavies9067 doesn't explain why every single other member of the band stayed with serge and not tom. If Ian/Chris/Tim and all the touring members were all disgusted by what Tom did it suggests that he's in the wrong, and all the others took the decision together

His addiction issues his ADHD and had a breakdown, his wife didn't want him charged, Vicky said that Serge was trying to push him out as he wanted the lead singer role for him as he is a attention seeker don't get me wrong he is a very talented man writing songs but he is trying to take Toms place and it's just laughable. Where was Serg his so called Brother when Tom had a breakdown . Chris and Tom still keep in touch and I went to see Tom in concert and he was brilliant and writing great new material he is a gentle soul who has been through enough.🙏❤️🙏
