FYI for anyone who wants to buy the beads. The peg board(2 pk) is $5 and a container of 11,000 Perler beads are $15 at Michaels. They have coupons on their website all the time and ended getting everything for only $12. I'm excited to start making them
Don’t iron it on the peg board you actually want to buy tape flip it over and iron so that the peg board doesn’t burn the peg board u can also heat up a needle or safety pin and make a hole in a perler
How many pieces do you typically make for the weekend? I've been creating for the past few months over time. Just want to make sure I have enough for all 3 days...

Try the taping method 💕 it saves your board just in case you squish it too much
use a lighter for the pin so it can melt thru any closed holes!

Thanks! I ended up using a knife for my other perlers to poke holes!
The tape method is good! :) I noticed that my boards would always start to bend because of the heat!
