@@JohnSanders-p7oRowen has a finite manufacturing capacity and has been buried in demand for the current Esse lineup. One way around that log jam is to seek manufacturing elsewhere, like Toor and White River Knives. However, being that the CR line is coming from an actual Rowen, it won’t be mfg anywhere else and isn’t the top priority for Esee. So contrary to what you said, the CR 3.0 isn’t coming out because Esee’s high demand won’t allow for the development of it. Not because they are dropping the ball.

I don’t have any experience with this blade but the ESEE crew has the highest standards when it comes to their blades so I would suspect this one is solid.

Interesting..... all micarta gathers a bit of gunk but on every knife I have by numerous makers its the same and cleans off easily with a wash. Nature of the material. As for pain, every coated blade will wear but likewise I have seen no discernible difference between a bunch of ESEEs and all the other coated blades I have.
This is cerakote not the the usual coating, and it definitely doesn't just fall off. If you weren't disgusting you'd clean your knife scales because G10 and Micarta both get dirty and harbor grime.

Eseeeeeeeeeeee! I don’t need to be spending money on new knives….. but it’s gonna happen.
Wow, a TOOR made collaboration!! Those will go fast.
When and where will the 3v toor colab knife be available?

What knife is that that they are making with Toor knives and where can I get one?
The ESEE Pacaya. They should be shipping soon.
Ahhhh 3v very nice!!!✊️🔥✌️💚
Could use an ESEE 6 and Junglas in Black Oxide like they do the Izula and PR4 in.
Junglas in Black Oxide would be very cool.
I can't wait to check out the new axe.
You will like it. Missed you there.
That pacaya looks nice but the scales look horrid. Hopefully its comfortable.
CR30? Where is it?

At least it won’t be warped since Toor is making them
You have received warped ESEE knives? I have never heard of that one. I am sure the warranty department at ESEE would like to know about this.
Great… another esee to buy
Where is the CR 3.0? Something more along the lines of a fish and fowl knife.
