Beautiful work Tina. I love bright yellow. I thought I wS alone but it’s the colour of spring, of the sun, of hope. I have been back to the 50p books and channeled my inner Tina and bought children’s books, books of old adverts, flowers and stuff I’m going to send you once it’s sorted etc etc! Thank you for your inspiration. Every day! 😊💕🌷
I find myself talking to you. You were cutting the envelope when glueing it and I was at awe. I would have wiped the glue off and cut the envelope. I love the pretty red flowers on the paper. They match so nicely. I try to mass make and I was making some pockets and I made two and they were not the same. I made one with a writing space and the other two pockets. Then I went on to making flowers. I had to laugh because I didn't get too far with mass making. I have to laugh at myself sometimes. I love using a lot of different colors in my journals. I like to dye my papers and then you can have a variety. Thank you for all of the pretty ideas. I have never heard of a travel kettle but maybe you could make your cocoa and put it in a thermos.
Lol, the mass making definitely takes a bit of getting used to, like you I get a little bored making the same things over and over, strangely I can only do it during my mass making workshops, as I am chatting with you ladies and the time just flies. I definitely can’t do it on my own. At least you have several different bits and pieces to use though. I love that you use all different colours, I struggle so much with not having everything matching, it is something I am working on x
I love that you’re creating with Ephemera that you had already made! I have a hard time doing that. Turns out I’m matchy matchy too, and I enjoyed watching it all go together, beautifully!❤️
It is!! I think I’m going to always struggle with that... and I’m pretty ok with that! One of the many reasons I love your digitals, you do such an awesome job of putting them all together! And even if it’s not the same kits, they blend so well! ❤️
Thank you for this fabulous video, i really loved it. Have just started with junk journaling, so this is sooooo helpful. Will be watching more of your older videos for more ideas. Blessings and hugs from a very miserable, wet, cold Cape Town, South Africa.
We are so on the same page I didn't finish the video and had to comment... @6:07 Pause... I can make this I finally have what you have LOl. well almost Yeah. Today a lady that I got fabric and lace from (huge haul she kindly through more than I asked 3 black leaf bags of fabric and lace over a month or 2 ago) anyway I have been practicing sewing extra.... Today she reached out and donated ribbon so grateful anyway I'm making her a journal for the RAK a humming bird one like this great ideas... I was going to ask how to incorporate and Voila here you are Lord Blessed... lol and I just sat and put sticky notes on the Hardcover I'm doing to do exactly what your doing.. Placed my ephemera where I want and wrote what I have to do to finish,.. UA-cam is reading my mind same wave length all the way across the pond... Oh and P.s those flowers came out Stunning they remind me of porcelain flowers i did pale earthy dirt tones and fall ish colors simply Gorg... ty ty ok I'm going to make this... i don't have glassine bags but i'm resourceful an instant oatmeal pouch will do inside out maybe.... oh p.s.s i bought a box of stamps off the market place $8.00 huge boxx and that lady threw in a small ebossing gun powder and inks for free... (new toy to learn) oh gheeze this craft surely snowballs but I had space to grow soooo why not lol ok I'll bb to finish your video and probably comment again forgive in advance if I get lost So cool xo
Oh thank you so much Joszie, I love that we are on the same wavelength with our projects. You sound like you’ve built up an exciting stash already, how fantastic that the lady reached out to you with more stuff. I am sure she will be thrilled with the journal that you make for her, that is so kind and thoughtful of you. Have fun x
Hi Tina I love all your videos but I found this one extremely helpful. When I make a journal I tend to make specific pieces for it and therefore end up with tons of spare ephemera from following others videos. This has shown me how to use those pieces in journals instead of making more. Of course I’ll still have to make some pieces specifically but thankfully will use up a lot I have. Oh and the car kettle, sorry but never found one that actually boils, can’t stand tea not made with really boiling water. As always I appreciate your generosity in sharing with us.💕💕💕💕
Deborah I know exactly what you mean, I also struggle to use the things that I already have made as I don’t then feel like everything matches and flows. Using the ready made ephemera definitely cuts down on time though and as you say it does help with controlling how much stuff we accumulate so it’s really worth experimenting and seeing if you can use some. Oh it’s such a shame about the car kettle, I had such high hopes for it x
Hi Tina! What is it about those ruffles?! As soon as you brought them out I had to go make one for the journal I am working on 😆. I love the fabric on the cover. This will be a gorgeous journal. Thanks for sharing your time with us. Hugs and blessings, 🤗❤️🇨🇦
Really lovely Tina, having all the bits ready is such a time saver... I can't wait to see the final results...Take care and I will see you at our next tea time 🤗♥️😘
When I saw that paper with the bird on it I just loved it and went to your shop and happy me its one of yours I will be ordering it so beautiful and I am thinking about order the woodlands . I appreciate your reasonable price for such lovely kits ! Did you coffee dye the one in your book?
Oh thank you so much Diane. Yes this journal will be for sale, however I do have a requested items list, but I would be happy to add you to that list so you can have first offer on a journal, obviously I will have to go down the list in order. If you would like to be added to the list, just email me at my shop x
@@shabbydabbydoodah I definitely understand. I’m a nature lover and so this one spoke to my heart for sure. Hopefully you will do another. . I’ll email you at the shop. Thank you. I sure enjoy your videos.
@@shabbydabbydoodah I forgot to ask you. Where do you get that bling you use. It looks black with diamonds but not sure that describes it well. I’ve been looking for some like it but not successful.
I don't want to complain, but the camera was a bit too close for my eyes on this video, Tina. I usually don't have a problem with the distance on your videos, but sometimes they are very close and almost blurry. I so love watching your videos. I learn so much. Have a productive week and stay safe.
Thank you so much Diane, I appreciate your feedback, and I am so sorry that this was a bit close for you. I really appreciate your letting me know, thank you x
I love watching you share your projects! You might think you're done, but I know you aren't until you utter those words 'I think I bit of lace'. ❤
Or a bit of bling...❤
Lol, oh you know me too well! X

Very beautiful, Tina. Love the colors.
i absolutely love watching you play Tina - be well xx
Nice just seeing your process and how you decide where each piece belongs and what you have to add.

This is so nice to see all the different ways you are putting together the journal. My favorite page is the Gosford green vellum page. ❤❤❤
Oh thank you so much Laura, I remember your fab Gosford Green journal, I literally couldn’t tell whether it was yours or mine! Lol 🤗🙃 x
I know... it turned out so nice because I bought the kit for the project. It is my favorite kit and favorite journal. ❤❤❤

Have you done a tutorial on fabric covers? It looks so good. Love that little fairy on the green page.

Oh thank you so much, I am so pleased that you like the papers, yes I think I coffee dyed most things in here x
Tina do you use the powdered food color or the kind in the grocery store for coloring eggs at Easter or the liquid kind.
It was actually a gel type food colouring, from Amazon, it was Wilton food colouring x
This is so lovely . Please excuse my ignorance as I’m new watcher and a novice, but where do you write in your journals. Thank you 😊
You can write anywhere and everywhere, but if you prefer it not to show, the. On the tags, cards, pullouts rather than the pages x
Thank you Tina
beautiful journal. the light off is better, can get a more true color view
Oh thank you so much, that is very helpful x
