For the chrome trim, you should have a look into "bare metal foil" since it would probably be easier than trying to paint the trim cleanly. The Scalemodelling Channel has a good video on it.
The wiper arms were supposed to be chrome just as a heads up, but I love the car it’s great how it turned out, also I’d love the chance to buy it so I await the link!

For some reason the camaro that I built the 'black' stripes looked a little more like a dark blue but it still looked cool on the gray I used

You should make an rc drag car with one of these models, like a funny car or something, or maybe a old muscle car converted to a drag car
Maybe get some pipe insulation and cut it into quarters length-wise to stick against your skirting boards, if you're gonna build beautiful cars.

Yes a separate charger is needed to recharge the batteries.
